Simply put; CJC's attention to detail is on a different level. I live on the east coast I'm tempted to take a drive out west for some TLC on my my Ignition Orange Ram build.
Do it you will not regret it. Well maybe the fuel needed to get there will cost you almost as much as the suspension, but you can’t go wrong with CJC I stopped in there last summer when I made a so cal trip. (Had to show off my truck a bit, I purchased my pintop kit from them)
I might just save my suspension, wheels and tires for last with a chassis unlimited high clearance front bumper. Maybe it's a one stop shop for my final mods and I'll take a road trip with the pups.
@@Troche571 yeah you will love it that would be a fun trip. I’m in WA state, and traveled down. I want to head out to the east coast. Want to go see WV, PA, NC, SC ect. I haven’t spent much time out that way.
People keep talking about how the Ram is due for a design refresh, updating it with more "modern" angular lines... Please, don't do that. I know taste is subjective but I think these are the best looking trucks on the market, especially with the clean mods you guys put on them.
Hey Cole, love these build videos. I just recently ordered a 2023 RAM 3500 Limited Mega Cab and I will be making an order to fit my truck out very similar to this one. The one question I have is about lift sizing.. Is there any plans to go any bigger with the lift kits for the RAM 2500/3500 like the options available for the Ford F-250/350? Something around that 5.5" mark? Thanks
Nope! The reason for that is Carli can squeeze some extra travel and performance out of the suspension on the Fords, but Ram 2500 coil rear ends are really limited, so adding that much lift only hurts ride, strength and performance. 1-2" of height increase on the rear is the sweet spot to improve ride without giving anything up.
Since this truck is a 3500 it's okay. It's only 14+ 2500s with the shocks outboard on the frame where you need a wider backspace wheel to avoid the rear shocks.
What do you guys do to accomodade the spedometer and shift points when you go with a bigger tire? I have a Powerwagon and dealer says they cant adjust the computer for larger tires
Shift points on these trucks are not determined by the speedo so the trans will shift the same regardless of a speedo correction. That said, AlphaOBD or the AEV ProCal SNAP are our favorite tools to alter the TPMS and speedo with larger tires!
I dont like King Shocks, could Carli put on some Dobinson Shocks instead? I've been running Kings and they are to much maintenance!! Dobinsons ride so much better and less maintenance!!
If they can make you custom shocks with the correct valving and lengths, go for it! Carli has completely custom spec shocks built by King for their systems. We’ve also never felt like they’re any more maintenance than any other performance 2.5 or 3.0 shocks!

Love the way you guys do them 5th gen builds. Always look perfect 👍 👍

They really are incredible trucks!
Cool to see other Trussed trucks. Also good to know I'm not the only one that rubs it on everything
The Thuren truss hangs down a bit so it’s normal to hit it on stuff. It can take it though!
@@CJCOffRoad yeah, the post trip can of Rust-Oleum makes it look like new
I'm in love. that's a beautiful rig.
Great build! Love the wheels and tire combo...
Beautiful setup. Beautiful truck.
Absolutely perfect setup 👍🏻
Man, I get my 37x13.5 KM3’s stock in the rear fender wells with slow wheeling and full articulation. Almost ripped the trim right off.
This rig would literally be perfect if it was on 17s
Why smaller?

I was thinking of going with 37s for my Power Wagon. But maybe 38s?
38s do look pretty sweet, but 37s clear better with hard off road driving.
Amazing build! I want to run the inter-cooler guard, just don't know what to do with the front license plate...
You can still run a plate!
Dame!!!
Who do you guys recommend on the east coast for similar attention to detail!? Unfortunately the drive from NC to CA isn’t fiscally sound.
Did you have to trim metal or just plastic?
You need to trim the metal pinch weld. We have a video that covers it!
I thought with the dominator kit you all didn’t recommend going to 5.5” backspace? Seems to work ok on this though?
Since this truck is a 3500 it's okay. It's only 14+ 2500s with the shocks outboard on the frame where you need a wider backspace wheel to avoid the rear shocks.
Awesome build! Why do you only truss the front axle?
The front gets the truss since that's where the bulk of the weight is!
👌
Ooooooh, how much do coloring the shocks add to cost?
It depends on the options, but a complete color change of bodies and end caps is $400 per shock. Just end caps is $100 per shock.

can the morimoto 4 bangers interchange with bj cubes?
Likely no. These brackets are specific to the BD lights!
get rid of the chrome and it would look amazing, those headlights kinda stick out, not in a good way.
Agreed!
