It's criminal that the BBC alienated this man after he had a major helping hand in reviving their biggest show. He's such a nice man and the fact brought up your laser cut head u gave to him ON STAGE just to demo it has got to be the most wonderful thing any actor can do. He treats people like a normal human being and not sheep
Everything I hear about this man nowadays makes me think more of him. It's great to see him interacting with fans and joking around the way I would never have expected! Great video my friend!
What a cool special experience! I love how Chris is able to talk with more joy about his time in Dr Who, and what an interesting answer he gave to your question.
Besides the ultimate Time Lord Tom baker, for me Chris Ecclestone was the best Dr. My first Dr. Was the wonderful Jon Pertwee. But Chris bought everything rolled up into 1 for his reincarnation. Fantastic actor, his portrayal of John Lennon was amazing too.
Great you got to meet him. I’ve met him a few times here in Los Angeles and he really is a good guy! I would have loved to have heard him speak about his life and career! Interesting. Thanks for this! 🤖🤓
I always imagined Chris was a bit grumpy and would refuse to talk about doctor who but he seems genuine and a really cool guy hope I get to meet him one day as he was a fantastic doctor and was instrumental in my love for doctor who.
Really special video Richard, this seemed like a great event for aspiring working into the industry. You must have been delighted with him showing off your gift, it was great to witness! Well done for dogging £95 for his auto, keep up the great work! - GF97
To put it in perspective, I'm Canadian. They wanted $125 for me to get a pic or an autograph with Peter Capaldi or Matt Smith.... I don't know who sets the prices at conventions.
Not sure to be honest. I’m not as much of a fan of Series 1 as most other fans... ‘Dalek’s probably my favourite, though, or maybe one of the latter two parters.
The series fanalie is brilliant I who's daleks where portrayed with such fear as thay where in dalek and stolen earth now it seems like there in it for the sake of it specially in twice upon a time

Never would I ever have thought Christopher Eccelston would be so interactive with the fans, its great to see.
I am so pleased he is interacting with Doctor Who again. He comes across as such a warm person with a wonderful wit.
The ninth Doctor was "FANTASTIC" as The Doctor and a great lead in for the other Doctors to follow. Thanks Doctor 9!
I attended this and got an autograph. Great to meet the best doctor of them all. :)
That's really cool, man. He was my first "proper" Doctor when I was a kid. I'd love to see him do some Big Finish when he feels ready.
haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
What a top guy! Proving that the actor to play the Doctor is as great as the character they play
What a cool special experience! I love how Chris is able to talk with more joy about his time in Dr Who, and what an interesting answer he gave to your question.
He seems much more open to Doctor Who fans now and talking about it.
Earrape Express Yes, I love to re-watch those.
MaccamatBux all that’s missing is David having a word with him
He’s a great guy, and a great actor! I’m lucky enough to act with him, he’s a really good guy.

It’s actually part of this: th-cam.com/video/rPdcVqClsIY/w-d-xo.html
Was he charging 90 quid for an autograph?
Joking aside, very well presented video. Hope you had a great time
No way, perish the thought... It was £95.
If you don't mind me asking how old are you?
17
I've always admired Eccleston but he don't half go on about being from Salford and working class, like he's the only actor from humble origins.
