Yes Kari! It was absolutely spectacular, and so fun that the 2 minutes when it was most perfect was when we were shooting the intro. Love how nature can continually surprise us. ❤️
Yes Mary! It only lasted for a few minutes, but was among the top two or three sunrises we've ever seen on a hike. Nature is just full of amazing surprises. ❤️
WOW ! That Red Sky ! 🙉 Surprised the band U2 weren't there reprising "Under a Blood Red Sky" from a "few moons ago" at Red Rocks ! 🎸 Fab vlog as always Adam & Elise Muchos Gracias 🇺🇸 🦅 🌰🐿🐿 ❤
Thanks Colby! Yes living at elevation has been freaking amazing. I used to watch channels like Mediocre Amateurs and wonder how they could climb such high peaks fast without getting out of breath, and now I realize it's just that they live at altitude full time. Loving it!! --A
Phyllis and I watched that sunrise from our back yard and it was spectacular, and you did a great job of capturing that beauty! It was a stunner!!! Now that you've been in Colorado for an extended length of time, you can see why people want to live here. It is a beautiful state. Love this video! 😁
It really was epic -- in person it was even more crazy than on camera! The only one we've ever filmed that's in that league was in our Rabbit Peak video a few years ago. It wasn't quite as deep colored, but it was huge and lasted a bit longer -- and that sufferfest had a crazy sunset too! ❤️
Yowza! One of your most spectacular and beautiful videos. From sunrise (!!!) to summit the views were amazing. Thank you so much for capturing it so well and bringing us along once again ❤️
Thanks for sharing the great hike. The vistas that you provided with this video, bear witness to how "elevated" the state of Colorado really is! Now it's time for some liquid altitude. 🍺🍺🍺
I know from recent experience, damm that wind is so biting up there! Another great videographic adventure, thanks again for the effort and appreciate your time editing and polishing 👍👍
Thanks very much, Eric -- oh my gosh yes it is such a freezing cold wind. Stoked to hear that you've gone up recently! It was our first time on Bierstadt, and we loved every minute of it. No danger, but a good workout and so many gorgeous views! ❤️
What a great 360 so clear , the sunrise was very special, good to see a great hike that most folks can do, snow coming tomorrow, Mammoth opening Saturday, anyway thanks for sharing, Larry Owens
Wonderful video hike again! The landscape is just stunning, love the vastness of the mountains there, here in Bavaria the mountains are quite "compacted".
Thank you! Vastness is a very good way to describe it. Especially from high up, it's an amazing feeling to look out over the horizon and to the other giant peaks. Hope you will come and visit from Bavaria! ❤️
Wow, that's the gentlest high climb I remember you doing! Was nice not to feel anxious for you for a change ;-) Adam, so glad to hear you taking altitude in stride! \o/ Just... don't get cocky :) Much love! -Liam
Haha I've definitely been getting a bit cocky with the altitude, Liam 🙈 This is the first time Elise hasn't regularly kicked my butt at above 12,000, and I've been enjoying a bit of trash talk about it for sure. Hopefully it won't ruin my altitude Karma! --A
Amazing sunrise and beautiful landscapes generally. Given how relatively non-technical the hike looked, it seems surprising that no one else was apparently around (even though it was cold) - the world to yourselves!
It was wonderful, Catherine! As you suspected, this was definitely not one of those climbs where we see no other people the whole day. But fortunately it was spread out enough that we were able to take our time and have a comfortable distance from other hikers. Whenever we do encounter a bottleneck on a hike like this we've learned just to go off trail over to the ridge line, where the hiking is generally harder but the visuals are more spectacular. We'll take that trade any day! ❤️
Love your excitement at that stunning sunrise. I'm surprised you didn't see any moose around those wetlands at the beginning of the trail, usually some there this time of year. Bierstadt = big rewards for relatively little effort.
❤ your love! Been out of hiking for a bit due to surgery recovery. Let me know when you’re back in the sierras! Adam, your snack spots are always primo!
There are some nice hikes and very interesting technical climbs in the Sangre de Cristo Range in Southern Colorado for you to consider doing next summer.
Do you two take HAPPY PILLS, vbg. Where can I get those. You both are the most upbeat people I have ever seen. And this is a compliment. Last week, I completed the R2R with my daughter. I'm 70, and watching your videos is inspirational for me.
ELISE and ADAM a hello from France. A pretty hike with snowy landscapes, with a bright red sunrise that could have been painted by a painter I appreciate for his many explanatory videos, Bob ROSS who died in 1995. ADAM do you know him, or ELISE do you know him? I repeat myself, I particularly like these videos that highlight ELISE's voice and the lyrics of her songs. This time ADAM, ELISE did not spare you, but always with kindness. Kisses to you both. DAN
Haha thank you! Yes living at altitude has made summiting these 14ers so much easier for us -- it's a lot of fun to be up that high and not suffering (except from the cold!). ❤️
Oh my! That sunrise looks like fire from a volcano!!
Yes Kari! It was absolutely spectacular, and so fun that the 2 minutes when it was most perfect was when we were shooting the intro. Love how nature can continually surprise us. ❤️
That sunrise is insane
It was one of the best we've seen in Colorado -- over too fast, of course, but were so happy we could capture it for you guys! ❤️
WOW. That sunrise was unreal!!
Yes Mary! It only lasted for a few minutes, but was among the top two or three sunrises we've ever seen on a hike. Nature is just full of amazing surprises. ❤️
You don't see sunrises much better than that. Spectacular !!!! Incredible 360 view also.
WOW !
That Red Sky ! 🙉
Surprised the band U2 weren't there reprising "Under a Blood Red Sky" from a "few moons ago" at Red Rocks ! 🎸
Fab vlog as always Adam & Elise Muchos Gracias
🇺🇸 🦅
🌰🐿🐿 ❤
Thanks John! Yes that sunrise only lasted for about 5 minutes, but WOW was it something to see. So happy to share it with you! ❤️
Congrats on summiting!🏜️What a fun climb! And amazing sunrise! Thanks for taking us along! Stay warm and happy and healthy🥰⛄️❄️
Spectacular footage guys! That sunrise was out of this world. Gorgeous! Thanks for bringing us along. Love you guys! 😀 ❤️
A great awa of 🌄 sunrise in the great western skies ❤️.
Wow, the red of that sunrise! And the rest, so beautiful!
What a glorious sunrise!
Acclimated Adam crushing some elevation and Elated Elise using a cheesy, but appropriate, quote. 10/10 adventure

wow, that video opening took my breath away. I can't recall a more stunning sunrise

What a beautiful morning for sure!!!!!!!!
Gorgeous sunrise !!! Amazing!
Elise and Adam, you guys are on fire! What a magnificent sunrise it looked surreal Thanks! Dean( Soul) Toronto
That's one helluva sunrise! The sky is on fire!
So happy that you enjoyed Colorado 🎉 So honored to call this home ❤
Thanks Kim! It truly is a wonderful state, and we're already looking forward to an even longer stay next summer/fall! ❤️
What a spectacular sunrise!!!
Yowza!
One of your most spectacular and beautiful videos. From sunrise (!!!) to summit the views were amazing. Thank you so much for capturing it so well and bringing us along once again ❤️
Epic sunrise! Great job and awesome summit views y’all rock
Fantastic, as always 👌🏿💯🧗♀️🧗♂️⛰️ And that sunrise ☀🤩
Thanks Christian! Ya that was one of the best sunrises we've ever seen on trail, right up there with the Rabbit Peak one a few years ago! ❤️
Thanks for sharing the great hike. The vistas that you provided with this video, bear witness to how "elevated" the state of Colorado really is! Now it's time for some liquid altitude. 🍺🍺🍺

It was just as beautiful when I was there years ago!
What an amazing climb! You guys are always having fun!

Spectacular sunrise and such a beautiful hike. 360 degrees views are stunning. We definately missed Adam singing though 😅

Ok, the sunrise was incredible! Looked like pretty much all trail except for the rocks toward the summit, right? Thanks for taking us along--love you.
That sunrise was incredible
So happy to share it with you! We were talking about it after, and it's definitely among the top two or three we've ever seen on trail. ❤️
Your are in such a good mood, it's contagious 😀
Sunrises are often quite dull compared to sunsets, but this one is amazing.
That is a hike, I would feel comfortable doing. The sunrise was amazing
Love your excitement at that stunning sunrise. I'm surprised you didn't see any moose around those wetlands at the beginning of the trail, usually some there this time of year. Bierstadt = big rewards for relatively little effort.
BTW. That quote WAS good!! I'm gonna use it!
Haha we've been using it too! It's cheesy, but also exactly the kind of attitude we try to live by. ❤️
❤ your love! Been out of hiking for a bit due to surgery recovery. Let me know when you’re back in the sierras! Adam, your snack spots are always primo!
Amazing 🙂
Thank you, I needed that!😎
There are some nice hikes and very interesting technical climbs in the Sangre de Cristo Range in Southern Colorado for you to consider doing next summer.
Yes William! We will absolutely do that -- southern CO is our primary plan for our CO trip next summer/fall. ❤️

I was half expecting a singing duet with you two at the top...oh well...maybe you can do Christmas carols in an upcoming video :)
Haha I'm loving the Christmas carol plan 😂 --A
@@LiveHardxLoveHard Hopefully Elise is just as excited for it lol
Hey guys, love that song with the refrain “fly higher”! Is that on your download list in band camp? I didn’t see it.
Surreal intro.
It was amazing, Steve -- a perfect sunrise we didn't see coming but of course had to capture for you guys! ❤️
1:25 I walked through that little river and my flipflop came off 😂
It was retrieved further down.
Haha I darn near stepped in the river too because I was so busy filming the sunrise I forgot to look down 🙈 Glad you got the flip-flop back! ❤️ --A
In German this means "beer town" which makes the thumbnail pretty hilarious.
Kind of dissappointing that neither the mountain nor the town Bierstadt in Germany has anything to do with Bier.
Haha if we'd known we definitely would have taken a nice German beer to the summit -- though it might have frozen by the time we got there! ❤️

Start with a sunrise and end with goat butts haha
As a rule, any video that begins with an epic sunrise should conclude with an epic goat butt 😂
@@LiveHardxLoveHard no one can argue with that. the logic is airtight lol
Bierstadt = Beertown in german ^^
We're so bummed we didn't know that before because it would have been a perfect excuse for a beer at the summit! 🍺❤️
When was this??
580 13ks. Crazy. 54 14ks says Google. That's a big Twinkie.
63? To go. Bam.
Hope the Ivy League duo is next.
We ended up getting too much snow and had to bail on CO, but the Ivies and Capitol and Crestone are all on our list for the trip out in 2025! ❤️
14,000 looks small compared to the mountain in the distance. 🥶🥶🥶🥶📸📸📸📸💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽 made it so easily
