HOW TO FIX BROKEN MAKEUP WITHOUT ALCOHOL

Oh my God thank you!!!! I was about to do the alcohol method but I was scared it would ruin the formula.. then I saw this video and I'm like WAIT IM TRYING THIS! And it worked!!! Seriously thank you so much!!!!
This worked great! I was hesitant to use alcohol, and I had a bronzer that was too big for a coin, so I used a hair styling product that had a completely flat top on it, wrapped with plastic.

Yep. Use the alcohol it works and reformulates the product.

Thanks i fixed my BeccaxChrissy highlighter without scraping it ! Just pressed it with the placsticsheet Wch Dey have given in it (as it’s not broken so critically it was so easy to fix ) wish I had knwn this technique earlier would ve fixer my eyeshadows as well
I ordered a highlighter in the mail and I just opened it and it’s completely shattered and I just tried this and it looks good brand new I didn’t put it on yet so hopefully it preforms good too

I love to use a flat cup on my highlights lol , I don’t like to use alcohol either I think it messes up the formula , I prefer to repress it dry
my highlighter only cracked a quarter part of the whole thing. so can i just smash those parts up & flatten it or do i have to smash the whole thing up?
this helped so much, my moms shine powder was all broken up and i watched a video right before this saying to put alcohol but the i saw this video!

I wonder why your shadow turned out so goopy, I always use alcohol method in a fine mist bottle and works great. Do you think it was with that particular formula of eyeshadow? Anyways great video glad you figured out a method that works aside from alcohol 👌🏻
+Letty Anaya Hmm I think it was either that I put too much alcohol or because it was a shimmer formula. It didn’t get goopy when I did it on a matte eyeshadow. But I still didn’t like how the alcohol made the shadow look lumpy and not smooth
@@SashaColina Well the same way you smoothed the Becca with a mimi spatula, you could have smoothed the goopy one. If you left it overnight after smoothing it (untouched) and allowed all the alcohol to evaporate...it would be just as smooth as the pressed. It always looks goopy...you just don't leave it looking like a mountain. You smooth it to look like new again. Then it is hard pressed with no air bubbles. 💗🙏🌺

does this work with powder?
im covvered in eyeshadow
it just stuck to the plastic wrap instead of the coin each time i did it and iv just got no eyeshadow anymore from repeatedly pressing a plastic covered coin into itrepeatedly, i dont have rubbing alchohol, gonna pour wine in it and see if that works
Oh God don't use wine! There's only a small percentage of alcohol in it and it's not the right type of alcohol. You need pure, ethyl alcohol. You can also use Micellar Water. Works even better! But yes, I agree, this way does not work. It'll just break back up again at the slightest pressure hitting it. It's basically a temporary fix so you don't lose too much product until you can legit fix it.

Thanks for this, the alcohol method never works for me; it never evaporates fully and leaves my product smelling super strong.

Yeah this only works until u accidentally bang your compact or until the 1st time u put a brush into it... then it breaks all back up. So plain didn't work for me & there are a whole lot of makeups that this plain won't work for.. thanks..
Normally metallic pigment binds easily and you wouldn't need alcohol at all

Your eyeshadow turned out slimy from the alcohol because you put too much in.

The alcohol you've shown there is only 70%, whereas the recommended strengths I've seen are 90% upwards. That alcohol there has 30% filler, including water! :O No wonder your product went slimy.

U really didn't need to use alcohol if u crumble it all up then use back off a spoon to press it all back into place and smooth it over nicely does better job achole makes it all damp and horrible least this way u keeping the testra off it and looks better when done .

You should take the one with alcohol down. I just did it. THEN I found this. 🤯
