Pillowcases - my theory is that the heart was meant to be stylised to replace the "a", but when the factory got the order, it was misunderstood, and they just added the heart instead.

If it isn't the following, then I think it is another aspect to the picture. It may help if you look at it a bit further away. You have to imagine the sound board of the guitar is his right buttock, and the back body is his left buttock, with the rim of that joint being the 'crack', so to speak.

Wouldn't it be funny if the educational system had already failed so spectacularly at teaching critical thinking that a grown woman would not even question her initial assumption, that the act of writing in cursive has any benefit whatsoever, let alone that presumed benefit being emblematic of a decline in educational standards. Then at least seven people also agreed with her, without thinking, within one month. That would be crazy, right?
Yeah, the problem isn't so much the stylized "T" (by itself), it's that the next letter is a "u". When put together, the combination of the highly stylized "T" (with the overly swoopy crossbar, which, to be honest _does_ make it look like an "F") with the "u" right after it, registers in the brain as, well, exactly what it looks like.

And while I agree with you that critical thinking is also lacking in the school curriculum, that doesn't mean that the failure to teach cursive isn't a valid indicator or symbol of what appears to be the declining quality of our educational system.
