S1E2: Make your own Super Kite using science! | Nanogirl's Lab | STEM activities for kids

Nanogirl is back with a new idea to help her develop the superpower of flight - it's time to fly a kite! Try this easy STEM activity at home, and together we'll use science to build our own kites. We'll learn the science behind how kites fly using lift, and why understanding area and weight are really important when it comes to flight.
For this activity, all you will need is
soft, thin plastic (eg rubbish bin liner)
scissors
soft felt tip pen
ruler
string
3x long wooden BBQ skewers
tape
ribbons, coloured yarn or fabric (optional)
plain paper and colouring/decorating supplies
