Number 1 hilarious thing is how HORRIBLE HC shows have become. In the 80's and 90's we actually had fun at shows! A few hundred people all up against the stage stage diving dancing our asses off not swinging our arms like a bunch of morons dreaming of being tough guys in the hey day of New York hardcore! Even in New York City it wasn't that spread out with 7 to 10 guys just swinging their arms around and Kicking. Pathetic doesn't look like any fun at all
@@williamperri3437 lol we actually go to shows and have fun as opposed to being pathetic old guys who just complain about how "we actually had fun" from the comfort of their homes. Truly pathetic
so the point of the game is to defend the red star in the middle? i don't really get it. please help me out. or was everybody searching for that one guy's shirt?
It amazes me that most of the gripes on here are in relation to the dancing. Who cares? You say RIP to real hardcore? Real hardcore means doing what you want and freedom of expression. Dancing is just dancing. Hardcore is dying because of people like you.
Regarding that DOS intro being the beginning to their pro-life song, DOS's members have different views on abortion than they did then, and when they re-united they ONLY played the intro part to that song, then cut off after that. I see no problem, although that guy is a just messing around with calling you out on it.
Old comment but I'll reply anyway Ian MacKaye (creator of straight edge) says caffeine doesn't mean you break edge. Same goes for meds If you read the lyrics, it's pretty clear straight edge abstinence is for stuff like cigarettes, alcohol, speed, shrooms, etc. as well as sex addiction/promiscuity. Why be so antagonistic toward a positive identity like that? I'd much prefer that people adopt a tough guy straight edge vegan attitude than join a gang or proud boys or some sht and actually hurt people. It's a healthy way to channel angst and aggression (literally)
benj8706 how does using a riff from a band as an intro make it pro-life? The riff is a Day of Suffering riff who had an anti-abortion song. However I feel you should do some research before making such claims. The members of d.o.s had differing views on abortion. Some being anti-abortion......but that doesn't automatically make you "pro-life". You can be against abortion but still be ok with seeing certain people dying, which isn't very pro-life. Think.
what on earth has happened to the hardcore scene? this tough guy ninja dancing has ruined the slam. just look at the idiots, no slam dancing and no stage diving, what a waste of a good attendance. R.I.P. true hardcore scene.
Now it’s flailing and kicking, near impossible to mosh or slam dance anymore, California still holds true to traditional slam albeit only backyard shows.
I love my veggies eat fruit almost everyday for breakfast try to eat green but when you eat a nice steak with a lobster tail there is an amazing feeling you get Mmmmmmmmmmmm!
did mommy tell these kids to clean their rooms? did they not get everything on their christmas list? did daddy cancel xbox love account? angry teens throwing a tantrum lol .
ha oh dear. you are probably a hyper sensitive feminist to. I wasn't actually bashing anyone. I thought it was funny that they label themselves as that. YOU are the one the got all fucking offended! go read the daily mail or watch top gear then write to the guardian about how fucking shocked and outraged you are.
Talk about going into details about dramatics hahaha, I'm fine... But I'm not gonna let some douche who knows nothing of what it means to be edge or anything about the culture sit and bash and laugh at it
God man this is so dam cringy ... yo where hardcore we don’t smoke or drink and or mosh . Kinda lame lol . I can hear the hate comments coming my way lol
thatkidcori Plants are also living things. I am also noone to eat meat every meal but from time to time I eat some decent steak or something like that. If you don't buy the crap you can buy in a supermarket and go to your local butcher it's ok. And being vegan is just very unnatural in general. Maybe you could get your protein from somewhere else than meat but most vegans don't and any vegan I have ever seen was underweight.
+HeimEier12 Personally, I try my best to eat grass-fed, non-caged meats, but I do have a ton of respect for all vegans. Between last year and 7 years ago, 400 million less animals were slaughtered because less people are eating meat. Ironically, most of the hefty people are know are vegan. While the lifestyle isn't for me, I do commend what they do because it's obviously making a difference. It's good to see bands with a platform that are doing something to make some sort of difference.
Nolan Mobley I right now don't have the opportunity but when I have a bit more money and have settled down, I will try to hunt my own meat. Where I come from which is germany, natural predators have become extinct over the last centuries, so there is a huge problem with deers and wild pigs which in large numbers are harmful for the natural forest. They have to be shot to help the environment and I think if you are not emotionally able to kill animals you shouldn't get meat at all.
gee i wonder by any chance if this band is straight edge?
I'm having a hard time figuring out as well.
This band is so legit. 90s metalcore lives.
there are way too many hilarious things in this video to name

So where do straight edge people draw the line ? Do they consume caffeine? Or take tylenol ? What about oxygen ? You can get high on oxygen too.
Old comment but I'll reply anyway

Not really, sorry you don't stand for anything fuck boy, don't bash on anyone who has values and integrity, is that okay with you bitch

Terrible mosh

K beeing straight edge is something to respect, but vegan straight edge?
Really?
I think that's a bit too hardcore^^
veganism to me is more important than straight edge.. I'm neither, but how can you not respect abstaining from murder and torture of living things.
