There’s a small strip of beach in front. Sand is nice. You can walk it but it’s not that big. There’s no chairs down there or anything. The surf there is too rough for snorkeling though I did see someone surf in it. For snorkeling I would pack up and go to Black Rock or Kapalua. The earlier in the morning the calmer the waters.
Stayed here 20+ years ago for honeymoon when it used to be an Embassy Suites. Had a friend that owned timeshare there and visited it again about 8 years ago. Planning to head back to Maui and extend our stay here at this resort for a few extra nights due to it's great beach access
The island is returning to “normal”. The area affected is blocked off. The Kaanapali area is fine. Shops are in need of the business and tourist money. There was plenty of tourists when we went. Just show respect where needed and enjoy some aloha 🌸
Ummm the waters in front of the resort are a bit rough. I personally wouldn't swim there but it's a personal call. However I did see people kayaking and surfing. For swimming I would recommend Black Rock Beach, Kapalua Bay, or Napili Bay :)
We were on the backside facing east on the 12th floor. Island view. Haven’t done the road to Hana yet for as many times as I’ve been to Maui. Have fun!
Our plane doesn't leave until late the night we leave. I've yet to see a picture of where the laundry rooms are in the building. I know it's not in the room. Do you have any idea about that?
Pool is included with the price. Amazing pool area. This resort is well well worth it. However to save money don’t book through the resort. I recommend booking through Airbnb. It’s around 200$ a night as opposed to much more. You book through someone’s time share. If a listing on Airbnb is up it’s worth it!
Hi! The restaurant at the hotel is good but I highly highly recommend the Hula Grill just down the street at Whalers Village. The Old Lahaina Luau is a good one to do and is nearby as well. To do’s I recommend renting snorkel gear and snorkeling at black rock beach. Or taking the Molokini Snorkel Tour. Kapalua Bay Beach is a must as well.
@@travelswithtravis0117 is the hotel worth staying at or would you recommend looking elsewhere. Is it clean. Friendly, beach 🏖 able to lay out on etc. so you can go elsewhere for a Luaus?
This hotel is very very nice. Highly recommend. All beaches in Maui are public so you can chill on any beach. Luaus you just have to book in advance online.
Varies. A lot of properties here are time shares. If you book through Airbnb you’re booking someone’s time share. Generally runs around 180-200$ a night which is affordable for Maui.
Beautiful! Great review!
Thank you so much!
Can’t wait! I’ll be there next week same hotel😊
Have fun! This place is amazing as well as Maui 🙌🏻

Any additional info on the beach; how big, lounge chairs, sand quality, what's the surf like - ok to snorkle, or how rough ? Thanks

It’s a very beautiful resort! Enjoy the stay! 🌴🥥
Thanks for the video, Might be staying there in September. Looks beautiful. You dont have to be a time share holder to stay there correct?
Nope! I booked through Airbnb. (It was much cheaper that way)
Have fun!
Daaang that’s nice 😎🤓
How was this part of the island? Is it okay after the fire? We are considering visiting in July.

Thanks for the video! Is the beach there swimmable?

What side of the resort were you on? We want to do the road to Hana tour which picks up next door.

There are laundry rooms on every floor. They are in the halls. Kinda like where you’d find a drink machine or ice. I do remember seeing them!
That pool!!
It was amazeballs 🌈😎
Is it a fee to use the pool ?
I’m going in June from the 17-23 is it worth the price 😊

Beatiful , than you 🙋🏻♀️
How much do rooms cost

There is not a full kitchen
Well.. 🤷🏻♂️
It was well stocked compared to a typical hotel and suited our needs perfectly.
