    For everyone asking about these in N scale. Just go to Thingaverse or Shapeways and print out almost any vehicle that you can think of for a fraction of the price. Don't have a printer? Send someone the file.

    I see at least a few here that will fit a 1980's-era layout which I am planning to build. Thanks. When it comes to vehicles it seems most manufacturers think everyone models 21st-century CSX or steam era.

      youre absolutely correct. I model 1985-1992. Very hard to get cars from that era. Trucks yes, but cars nope.

    If these venture to the UK suppliers I think they might end up on some of our layouts which could be either British, European, American or Canadian outline.

    Is it possible to replace the licence plates with British or Australian plates?

    • @ModelSceneryExpert
      @ModelSceneryExpert  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You cannot remove the license plate. However, you could probably cover the license plate with a plate you want. British plates tend to be longer and more narrow than American plates, but Australian plates might work ok. We have not tested it.

  • @zinethar

    I keep seeing people suggesting that modeling trains is dying. The likely reason if this is true that anyone born in the 70s or later have never even seen steam engines or automobiles of that era. We need much more current things (and N scale!) to attract the younger audience!

  • @areakt
    @areakt 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I'm not sure I would call 70's and 80's vehicles "modern". Maybe the sports car is vintage 1990? But still to call anything modern these days it really needs to be 2000+. 1980 was two generations and 40 years ago. I'd welcome vehicles from the last two decades as you don't see much of your offering still on the road today in 2020. It just looks out of place if that's predominantly what your placing on a modern highway scene. How about some Ford Fusions, Toyota FT's, SUV's, or even Teslas? Now that's modern.

    • @ModelSceneryExpert
      @ModelSceneryExpert  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Our other offerings are 40s and 50s, so these are modern in comparison. While it's true that they are not as commonplace as a Ford Fusion today, these styles are still seen. This gives both those who have layouts set in present day or those modeling in an era like the 80s, options that work for their layout. However, your feedback has been passed on to Product Development.

    You should do older style 60s and 70s cars with ford and Chevy and make semi trucks from that time too or vending machines and make shelf’s and stuff you find in stores for a inside of a building
