Narrated Abdullah bin Amr that: I heard the Prophet saying:
“Allah will not deprive you of knowledge after he has given it to you, but it will be taken away through the death of the religious learned men with their knowledge. Then there will remain ignorant people who, when consulted, will give verdicts according to their opinions whereby they will mislead others and go astray.” (Agreed Upon)
Dont be decieved and dazzled by his eloquent speech fear the day when you will stand in front of Allah and this guy javaid rejector of hadith with his own interpretation of hadith will not be able to help you on that day. Fear that day and stop following him blindly.

Zakir Naik can give the best of information on Hinduism to Hindus. But the Hindus dislike him because he is not a Hindu.
Now coming to the difference between information and ilm.
How to know if a scholar has ilm?
Ask them to recite Quran so that you can listen and taste little bit of Imaan. Concepts such as Allah's mercy,awe and love are not things to be just understood by the mind. It must felt in the heart. People who claim to be scholars and can't give people these feelings by their recitation of Quran are deprived of the Noor of Quran because of their excess worldly desires,ego and arrogance. Hence they are not scholars.
Umar Ibn khattab(ra) entered into Islam after listening to Quran.
Today people need healing for their hearts,not excess information.

I completed my Dars-e-Nizami and Alim Fadhil course from a highly reputed Darul Uloom in Lahore.
I also did post graduate studies in Islamic Sciences from the Government College Lahore and the Punjab University Oriental College.I must also make a disclaimer that I am not a student or follower of Dr.Ghamidi.
I must admit that it is my personal experience that the rude and arrogant attitude of Molvis who are interrogating Dr.Ghamdi in the interview is common practice amongst the bulk of the Ulema fraternity.
It's actually very sad situation that the majority of Molvis have always been this way.
They do not appreciate difference of opinion especially if it does not agree with their own established views and opinions.
These minions have no clue that they are talking to an intellectual giant.
They are incapable of understanding what Dr.Ghamdi is articulating.They are accusing him things he has not said.
The problem with these 2 idiots is that they are listening to him through their sectarian prism.
They are not merely going through a question and answer session but they are conducting an inquisition-cum-interrogation.
I admire Dr.Ghamidi's patience.

@ABDULLAH I apologise if this is the case, but generally this is what I have observed. I am writing here not for any other reason but it hurts to see my brothers and sisters follow this person because it's very clear what he is advocating goes against what has been taught by classical scholars. It will mislead many. He is not going to save us on the day of judgement. We are adults and responsible for our own actions. I want to make sure I go to jannah so I try to follow the earliest scholars. Our prophet told us this
Abu Dhar said, “I was with the Prophet (SAW) one day and I heard him saing: “There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal.” It was then that I became afraid, so I said: ” Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?” He (SAW) said; “Misguided and astray scholars.”

مدرسوں کے خود ساختہ سند یافتہ عالم اور فاضل جوان علماء جس بدتمیزی سے غامدی صاحب سے سوال کر رہے تھے اور ساتھ ساتھ دباؤ بھی ڈال رہے تھے کہ انہیں منکر اسلام توہین اسلام وغیر کی سزا دینی چاہئیے انہیں برداشت کرنا اور انہیں جواب دینا حیران کن ہے۔
اس تمام بحث سے یہ بات ثابت ہے کہ دین اسلام کو سمجھنے کیلئیے سب سے پہلے قران کو سمجھ کر پڑھنا ضروری ہے۔ قران کی عربی کا کورس کرنا ضروری ہے جیسے ہم انگریزی کی کتاب سمجھ کر پڑھتے ہیں۔
غالبًا ان لوگوں کا کہنا یہ ہیں آنکھیں بند کرکے صرف ہمارے نقطہ نظر کو دین کامل سمجھ کر قبول کر لی ورنہ تم دین اسلام سے خارج ہو ۔
اللہ تعالی کالاکھ لاکھ شکر ہے کہ اس نے ہم کو غامدی صاحب جیسا عالم عطا فرمایا

It sadden's me to see the tone of these people who call themselves 'scholars'. They do not have the intellectual capacity to engage in civil academic debate with a scholarly great such as Javed Ahmed Ghamidi himself. It amazes me to see the sincerity and patience in Javed Ahmed Ghamidi's replies, that too after countless mal-intentioned questions. That itself should speak volumes of his character.

Madrassia lads are extremely judgmental ..... they seldom asked questions in this interview rather giving their judgments with all their prejudices .... they happens to be consistent in their behavior e.g. they tend to humiliate the interviewee .... i must also admire him (Ghamdi sab) for his cool and calm while answering judgments .... probably we can put him on top of the list of the very few truly learned Islamic scholars of our time.... Now coming to the difference between information and ilm.
How to know if a scholar has ilm?
Ask them to recite Quran so that you can listen and taste little bit of Imaan. Concepts such as Allah's mercy,awe and love are not things to be just understood by the mind. It must felt in the heart. People who claim to be scholars and can't give people these feelings by their recitation of Quran are deprived of the Noor of Quran because of their excess worldly desires,ego and arrogance. Hence they are not scholars.
Umar Ibn khattab(ra) entered into Islam after listening to Quran.
Today people need healing for their hearts,not excess information.
