Real talk though, damn nice shooting. OF COURSE, "SUDDENLY KODIAK" is probably the most terrifying thing that can happen to you in MWO. I still fondly remember that instance when, in a Community Warfare match(Ghost Bear on assault vs. Rasalhague defenders), a lone spider rounded a corner, stopped in shock for a few seconds and then melted under 3 SSRM6 and a UAC 20 double salvo. I even remembered to extend the claws before firing... had them retracted before, so that I couldn't be seen around the corner. >:)

Haha, yeah it's one of those situations where I'll often yell "OH COME ON!" right at my screen. That perfect combination of bad luck and the worst possible timing xD

Thank you very much, glowy green-eye alarmed bird person! RL Stuff doesn't allow me much time to make videos nowadays, but I'm glad I was able to make this one for ya'all :) I'm also glad I was able to publish it before civil war patch, only had a few days time to edit it!

I was playing conquest on HPG manifold and I was in a 1v4. I legged everyone with a spider and out capped them all. Won the game and ''twas a good feeling

secret to override: never use it until the last stand. you do not get used to having it on all the time and make that "last error in your life" less. I use that strat since beta, and it works for me. I am prone to overheats and I not that good though:)

Since you mentioned it, I've always felt that there is a massive design flaw with the HUD alerts, since once you get crit the "Critical damage" warning and blinky lights come on FOREVER, instead of something sensible like say, 10-15 seconds on screen, then it would go away. Do they think people are so ADD they will forget they were crit if the warning is not constantly there? This is simply stupid and pointless design, since it quickly leads to players learning to just ignore the flashing red alert box. Yet somehow they think it's good idea to have override (and missile) warning pop up in the same spot, instead of having a separate [Override active] light elsewhere in a distinct location on your HUD, in an easy to see place so there is no confusion. This is just one of many *extremely* obvious, simple UI improvements I was hoping for *years* PGI would implement. But alas.
