They both work under and over makeup/powders and wear all day!! I hope you’ve settled in for the most part and are doing well!! I know how hard moving is to begin with and going through the other issues you are dealing with also…I know isn’t easy!! I’m a single mom to a 4 year old with special needs and split up from his father this past September. It’s all hard but it definitely gets a little better every day and I try to think of all the positive things I’m sure will come in the future…if I get depressed and down!! ❤️
The Lisa Eldridge cream blushes and highlighters are AMAZING too 🤩 Like you I used to dislike cream products (I’m an oily skin girl so yeah…) but now I want to try more and more 😂 I want to try the Charlotte Tilbury blush and highlight wands (already used up the contour wand 🙊) and am totally eyeing anything from Samantha Ravndahl ❤️
If u wanna try the other rare beauty blushes I would recommend getting the sample size they have when u buy something from their website. I did that and the samples actually come with a decent amount and u need very little

I bought the denessa myricks colorfix in cupcake after you used it first on your channel. The color is beautiful but for me I felt like my cheeks were wet all day and it really slid around. Do you top it with anything or just wear it on its own? I should really try it again. I also love the glow lust. I pretty much have given up Foundation because I do a little bit of glow last in my moisturizer and it gives me the glowing coverage that I'm looking for. Love it!

I tend to only wear cream products when I don't wear foundation. I have had the original Soleil Tan de Channel for a few years and I use it on my "no makeup makeup" days and recently I added a melt cream blush. But in my soul I'm a full-beat kinda girl and I prefer powders for that. 💖💖
I do love Rare Beauty. I have bliss and joy. Joy is dewy, bliss is matte. I apply bliss with some Charlotte Tilsbury superstar youthful glow. Definitely makes bliss dewy looking. Just a suggestion to make bliss work better for you.
Every time I finally get myself to use a cream blush, I always want to reach for your shimmery blush from the new palette to put over it so it’s more glowy! Your blush is still my number 1! Chick lit is the best! I love it mixed, but if I do use a different blush, I need the shimmery half to top it off. My cream blushes are LYS Self Love, rare beauty nearly neutral, and tower 28 magic hour.

I’d taken a TH-cam break at the beginning of the year, but I somehow clicked on my app around the time you put up your “last empties from Iowa” video and have been watching ever since, mainly to support you, playing the ads and such as well. So, you being into cream products is a big, and fun, surprise to me. Anyway, Honest Beauty has some of the best cream blushes you can get anywhere. They’re a stiffer formula, but blend out super easily and are very long wearing in my hot & humid climate. For high end, Kjer Weis is similar, but with a ton of shades to choose from.
I felt the same way about Salt New York at first too and I saw an Instagram reel where someone said you have to get them warm first prior to use. I swirl my finger in them for a few second and then tap it on my cheeks. Doing that I find they blend so much easier.
I’m still not a cream/liquid fan so I’m super impressed that you’ve come around to them 😂 I still find creams and liquids to be more finicky and longer to blend out on my skin. I like quick and easy and for me, powders are just easier.
I’m curious to try the reverse foundation method and first apply my Rare matte liquid blushes and then use my CT flawless filter over top. I wonder if it’d reduce the matte factor 🧐

I've never liked cream products, but two weeks ago I bought NudeStix Mini Nudies Blush, Bronze, Glow Kit from my local Sephora and I love it already.
