Just wanted to let you guys know that, Pantum is actually selling a refill kit with 60 mg of Tonner and a reset chip that good for 1600 pages of use.

Nice one. Thanks for the insight. I didn't even buy the toner. It came from the cartridge I'd kept from an old broken HP printer I had a few years ago. I took the top off the old cartridge, then used a spoon to get the toner out, and a funnel to put it into the Pantum one.
Funny thing is, prior to this, it said remaining amount of toner, 64% but there's no way it had that much in. I'd say it was nearly empty, judging by the poor print quality. It's all good now though.

Read recently the trick is to NOT let the cartridge run empty. Always refill before that. Avoids the problem of the cartridge always sending back an "EMPTY" message. New chips can be purchased on sites like Wish or Aliexpress, but to me does not seem worth it because I cannot determine if they are resettable.
Hint: For the video, it is always difficult to video a dark object when there is a light background. Need a bright light on the object you videoing.
The chip will eventually read empty when it has reached its capacity, regardless of the toner level inside the cartridge

The key to long cartridge life may be to refill well before the cartridge detects low toner. Maybe after 100-200 full pages of print. I suspect you get X pages after low detect before the chip allows no more printing. If you were actually running out of toner, you'd get vertical bands of lighter, and darker print just before blank pages.

This video helped me out in two ways.Your place is a mess but know where even close compared to my place. Every time I try to clean, some how it ends up worse loll.

after refilled, tape (insulate) the 4 golden exposed pad on the chip exterior, then power on the printer. then, turn off and remove the insulation and reboot again

I have a yellow plastic like twos coming out of my cartridge. What should I do with that? My printer is saying low toner.
The chip has a counter for economy and dark printing and can not be fooled and that's how it activates the low tonner warning.

after you shake it to put back in try vacumming excess off the outside of cartridge like i did in video

Reset chips are now available on Amazon and ebay for $7-$12.
Just picked up two kits from Amazon, Is there anywhere you can just buy the replacement chips?
check eBay but the only one that works with the wifi part of my printer is the one that comes with a toner pantum refill kit also I was able to load more toner in it to last longer
Do I really need to vacuum out the old toner (I understand about toner contamination) I mean black is black right ? I only use the printer for shipping labels. What are your thoughts? Thanks.
Do you think I should try and refill now or wait till it's empty? I don't know where the level is until I remove the cap, I guess. Currently it weighs 1 pound 8.9 ounces
Actually just connected to it by wireless as well as originally by USB. Then used ip scanner to find the printer on my network and it has a webpage administration setting page, it says I have 84% toner left.
Works great but the chip got me after 2 refills. Trying to find the correct chips online but not having much luck.
