Cutting future immigration still implies more people by increasing the immigrant population. Any immigration above zero increases the population thus a continued demand for housing. To reduce the housing demand would require cutting the total immigrant population residing in Britain. That would take zero immigration and mass repatriation of the immigrants already here. Anyone telling you that housing demand will decrease as the total immigrant population increases (through CUT IMMIGRATION) is the TOP priority!
Migrants shouldn't be allowed to come to the UK unless, they have permanent full time employment, they do not qualify for any benefits whatsoever including childcare or child benefits until they have worked here for a minimum of five years, including any form of Healthcare. Accommodation must be secured and paid for by the individual, not the British government or tax payers. They must have insurance in place to receive health treatment not the NHS services. Last but not least, please don't White people as Gwei Lo, very offensive.

Tommy, 多謝你提及我😊。來了Liverpool 3個星期，現在仍住緊AB&B。阿囡開始上緊Council提供為期3周嘅ESOL Transit Session，6個同學仔中只有她是香港人，3個黑人女仔，中東女仔和男仔各1個。現在上咗2天，估唔到佢用麻麻地嘅英語都能夠同其他人溝通到，這個就係Adonis 所講在香港要讀國際學校才有的經歷😊。現在住緊L17，去College(唐人街附近)上堂讓佢自己坐巴士來回，20分鐘車程超方便，係抵讚嘅😊。相比起香港，香港嘅衣食住行真係方便嘅，這邊係中式種類選擇較少，ASDA係有米，菜，肉等等生活必需品。同埋預咗英國工作效率係慢嘅，唔好抱住香港急嘅心態，否則自己煩惱又影響家人呀😂。

我愚見：未到 Liverpool 前都在Rightmove, Zoopla 2個網站開始搵，但當時冇英國地址（AB&B地址都好），就算網上填Form後，都唔可以親身去viewing，親自睇過好重要，試過間屋有一大陣musty smelling；用最靚角度拍照啦（明就明啦）😅；有傢俱嘅以為慳一筆，到時睇完變咗希望業主先搬走傢俱嘅情況。我都係落腳後開始搵，agent真係會打電話，信息，whatsapp，email約你睇屋嘅。提議你自己選定住邊區，大家要求唔同，真係要做吓功課先😊。
老實租樓其實唔難，租好樓啱自己先係重點，正如另一位朋友回答，落左地感受下唔同地方都唔遲
