Initially thought this is just the Hanma build all over again but damn, no weapon run is insane. It never occurred to me it is possible to beat the game barehanded. You, my guy, is the real MVP as usual. Crazy that you put up a good upload right after that Artorius build, that one is fire.

Awesome video as always yaz, you became my favorite ds2 youtuber! For a challenge run suggestion: you could try an Old Knight Halberd run. Early and easy to get, immense damage and useful moveset, but the sweet spot mechanic is tricky (and must be mastered to get the full damage potential) and the durability of the weapon is almost non-existent. This makes the early game pretty tough because you have to carefully choose which enemies to encounter (as few as possible so that you have enough durability for the area boss) until you get the Bracing Knuckle Ring and the Repair sorcery. So tl;dr the insane damage and scaling along with the severe drawbacks (sweet spot and durability) makes for a pretty unique run that is surprisingly satisfying to play.

Dark Souls 2 had the Vanquisher's Seal and the Bone Fists; definitely being the only game in all soulsbornes/soulslikes (outside of Nioh 2 and that one martial arts game I forget the name of) to let you play a proper hand-to-hand character.
A build i always do to fulfill my "Spellblade" itch, is going Soul Greatsword/Dark Greatsword spells with blue flame and Black Witch Staff. You can go Moonlight GS with the staff too.
You should try it, its really good
There are some weapons that I find interesting and that I would like to see you use, I'll leave it here as a suggestion, it might be fun to use some of them.
Drakeblood greatsword.
Forlorn weapons.
Grand lance.
Yorgh's spear.
Caestus has faster wind-up which is really nice. You can dual wield l1 and roll out of it, while the first hit counts. Its like a really fast jab before rolling, leaving you save and the opponent with less hp and possibly staggered

Love that you're so focused on DS2. Such an under-appreciated game. I finally got around to trying it about a month ago and I gotta say, I just don't understand why it gets so much flak. It might just be tied with DS3 for me for my favorite DS title. But I got started on DS3 so I'm biased. I saw that you gave Elden Ring a try. You might also enjoy Bloodborne. I also love Sekiro, but it's different and it took me a while to master. But when you master it, it's satisfying AF. You feel invincible. Love the content though, bud. You're a true scholar for focusing on DS2.

One of my least favorite builds ive ever done is whips only (I was on NG+3). Its awful, and Id love to see you try it. You can get the old whip from trading a petrified something to the crows, the normal whip is near the bastard sword, and the notched whip is in Huntsman's Copse.
Specifically, i think you should powerstance them as the attacks look really cool.

Vanquishes seal was awesome. I remember when I first did it the first boss I fought with it was Sinh. Was not expecting to actually deal damage and defeat him

One thing that can help when farming Rhoy is to snag the stone ring from the troll in things betwixt, since he has that ds2 npc poise
A love story with yazzmania and the funny danceing tuff beginning but easy at the end
So for those with issues on grinding for the ring do it offline the invader will respawn and if you have a lil faith just slot in force miracle and push him off the bridge for faster farm and respec whenever your done hope this help.

Can you try to make a daggers only build? I tried it in DS 1, DS 3 and ER. But could not do it even on paper in DS 2
