Just put the 589 single steps John Wayne style. Taking the sliders off actually makes drilling easier, but still took about 5 hours from start to finish. I clamped the backplate inside then used transfer punch. Started with a small pilot hole and sized up from there. Lots and lots of lube. Drill slow and you won't burn up your bits.
those sliders/ foot steps are awesome can you do another updated owner review of your ZR2? any major maintenance since last vid? was considering getting a 2021
I have a 2001 4wd S10. I'm getting a 2.5" lift installed right now. I'm considering tire size at this time. You mentioned in one of your vids that 33" wouldn't fit at all. Did you consider 32x11.5? I don't think I"ll have to cut away anything with this size, but would like your input before I make a decision. It was great to find someone with a truck like my own that didn't mind investing in it. Thanks for the vids and your feedback.
Thanks man ! I have been playing dad life and working. Things slowed down a bit on the channel here for a bit. I plan on doing more videos and getting back to it !
Good looking truck, and I really like the flat black bug deflector. Any wear or fading if you don't mind ?

I bought the 2 in from 589 Fab two years ago I regretted not getting the 3-in
I’ve heard a few others say the same thing. So far I love these thing man. It’s going to make it easier on my pregnant wife and little girl.
@@DAGOLFER34 I ended up going with the stock GMC canyon steps on mine cuz I'm running the 4-in BDS plus 1.5 level plus 1.5 body.
Anything coming for the 5th gen ?
