- Queen Camilla received a warm welcome when she visited a farmers market in Shrewsbury. The Queen met with traders and also shook hands with well-wishers, including two young girls who had made get well messages for the Princess of Wales, the Queen remarked “I know she will be very thrilled”. Report by Matt Blair.

25 years ago if you’d told me that Camilla would be Queen and doing a fantastic job, I’d have laughed in your face. But she has really stepped up and come into her role in a way that I can’t help but admire. I’m so glad that HM the King has her by his side at this time.

I have to say queen Camilla has greatly surprised me as queen, she has really stepped up and done her royal duty. It can't be easy to keep the schedule she keeps it her age. But she stands by King Charles and she loves King Charles so much that it shows in her actions. And her actions have changed my opinion of her I can see how difficult it would have been for Princess Diana to accept that Camilla was Charles's true love but she did finally accept it so hip hip hooray hip hip hooray for Queen Camilla exclamation mark❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The King is the Monarch of Scotland, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Commonwealth.
A Scottish King James VI united the Crowns and created the United Kingdom. There are 2 separate Crowns.

@MsButterflyuk - l loved your comments, what a lovely person you must be, as although an ardent fan of Princess Diana, you can appreciate that Queen Camilla is a wonderful human being and a fit partner for our beloved King Charles lll. I do not think either Diana or Charles were bad people, it was outside influences that brought them together, but there were so many differences between them from the get go that unfortunately the marriage was doomed from the start. At least we have an incredible heir to the throne in Prince William, but unfortunately Prince Harry, has taken the wrong path, which is sad, but hopefully in the fullness of time he will realise his mistakes and seek help to rectify them, as l do feel he wants to return but is caught between a rock and a hard place, as he does not look like the Harry we all knew and loved.

I’m also in my seventies and British and I just want to say there were always people who admired the stoicism and loyalty of (now Queen) Camilla. She never spoke to the press despite being absolutely vilified, unfairly in my opinion, and now people are acknowledging her worth, she deserves every accolade.
Along with so many things that have changed - like men insisting on being referred to as women, and another American divorcee thinking she can change 1,000 years of history! Fortunately Queen Camilla is one of the few 'unlikely' changes that have turned out to be a blessing. She is doing a fantastic job and I am proud to call her my Queen. ❤
