This is the spirit of a true winner, he congratulates the opponent even after a loss, him crying means that he is truly passionate about winning, even though he had won so many tournaments already, losing one tournament is still a sad thing for him. I salute to you, Viktor Axelsen, you are truly a legend.

He admit that he has done his best then say he had too many mistake today. He doesn’t find an excuse to explain his performance first but to congratulate his opponent. This is the champion spirit and healthy competitor spirit. A lot of people always find a excuse for their performance first rather then tell others they had done their best. Because they can’t admit their failure. And always comfort themselves by all kinds of excuse.
Viktor axselsen is a respectable athlete.

Yeah that's why Viktor and Loh Kean Yew clicked. Both are humble, friendly and very down-to earth despite their strings of achievements unlike some number one single player in Malaysia. I think he would probably laugh in his sleep if he beats Viktor, well this is something he cannot do!

He is like the Roger Federer of badminton. Due to the fact badminton is dominated by Indonesian and China players we don't see professional characters in the court. The fact new generation of Chinese and Indonesian are now more professional than in the past. Malaysia Lcw have set a good example for young players like Shi yuqi , kento momota and Cristie Jonathan. As for western people professionalism in the blood of western. I am Malaysian.

@@willwang9789 Chen long is good. He is lucky that Lin Dan is on his side. Looking at this year All England China and Indonesia proved that they still dominate Men's singles and men's doubles respectively. As a Malaysian myself I can't deny that Malaysian badminton isn't improving much since the retirement of Lcw. But when Aaron chia and Soh wooi yik won the world championship is just break the jinx that Malaysia finally have won the world championship. Since then Malaysian badminton is struggling. To be honest Viktor axelsen is just a bit unlucky against Ng tze yong.

The first time I knew Axelsen was in Thomas Cup 2016 final, against Tomy Soegiarto in first MS. When Tomy got slipped in the court and asked the umpire to dry the court from the sweat, the umpire refused that request, because he thought Tomy just wanted to delay the game. To my surprise, Axelsen stood up with Tomy and told the umpire to dry the court. From that moment on, I knew he's going to be great player and he becomes one of my favourite player and I respect him because of his fair play and good sportmanship... So come back stronger...
