One of my all time favorite love songs, a deep, gritty, real love song from a married mans perspective.

@@dricedlkyou made me question if it was written with his 3 daughters in mind, and some of the song could be applied to them as well . But the lyric “Cause a ring don’t mean nothing if you can’t haul the weight” reaffirms my assumption that it’s about his wife who he’s been married to for 23 years, not her specifically but the commitment to someone

I feel that this album is underrated. Everyone has there favorite Thrice albums but I never hear anyone I know mention this one. Great from beginning to end.

I talk about this one all the time.. I think vesshue, then this then major manor are the greatest albums
Vhiessu was probably my favourite but it was also the first album I ever bought so I fully acknowledge the nostalgia bias 😂
As an album, this is by far their best. The flow of going from one song to the next is perfect! The production isnt their best but i feel it adds to the rawness of the songs. They have better tracks on other albums but this remains the best!

But it's not entirely fair to oversimplify an issue like this, in any way. A hashtag being the biggest oversimplification/most shallow approach(+propaganda, usually) obviously, but still.
And since no one who hasn't had thorough experience there &extreme understanding/knowledge of the details of the specific strategies that are being used currently, can be (kinda) sure and have "proof" and definite and valid opinion about who's the real/biggest criminal among the "leaders" behind everything that's happening there, and who's promoting and utilizing violence etc the most (great "alpha" "males" who'll be innocent and serious and noble, are steadily chosen n coming to save us all tho🙄 it's not like they're the same in mindset and motives with those who are already in power and are savoring the wars), and we *can* be sure that even if they're not ALL on the same team and laughing at us all fr, they mostly share the same mentality and surely have the same end goal, domination (and/through manipulation, exploitation, leeching and milking everything and everyone), well... it's better not to take sides and do it hastily when at the same time there are ppl who are being killed /extra exploited and a country that's being destroyed, and equally importantly, environmental repercussions that continue to add up, on top of the destruction we breed in that front even under normal(?) circumstances.
I'm not neutral or careless if I say I don't support any criminal and manipulative figure. I'm blind if I say any side is a liberator and a saint.
And it's even more complex than what I've written so far, since I've obviously haven't followed the news because we are never offered the full picture so we can't have a clear idea... But the most certain of all is that:
Cynicism, confusion, fanaticism, greed, hate, division, mistrust, immaturity/shallowness/egoism/complexes and all other forms of stupidity, self-destruction and self-inflicted prophecies (that are swallowed too easily by many, ironically particularly by those who *always* criticize everyone else's "lack of cRiTicAL tHinKiNg skillz" - left or right or above or below - and who excuse their own mistakes and crimes, wrong priorities and criteria and false views, or those of the ones they support), are things that are pushed and things every single one of us should be resisting because they're all leading to war.
p.s. hmmm maybe the hashtag was just to show his/her support to the ppl of Ukraine tho :p
And last but not least, in war you want to have allies and be helped. What matters is *not* reaching the point where you'll be targeted fr. But the real war isn't the only kind of war, there's poverty etc and there are reasons to keep us divided daily, if we let them. I think it starts from there too. When you're taught to be a slave, insecure in the worst ways so you'll be in denial and listen to no one n nothing except the ones who you pick as your mental rapists, and deceitful, cynical, selfish, and nihilistic, and see just 1 of the many sides of each fact, you're easily led to war.
Then, the most organized and dirtiest ppl to exist, can do as they please for many reasons. I doubt these will ever be revealed for real. But basically we're all sheeple n pawns in reality I guess, as much as some like to think they've woken up and know everything, which is truly laughable as a thought. If we weren't pawns we would've come up with ways to dismantle the ones who govern, instead of saying that nothing can be changed and we should live our life because of YOLO and goals that just fuel the same powers that do the milking.
Man, I've been sleepy, not sure if I'm making sense since around 50% of this post, lol. But I could mention more later and further edit this one to fit something more and correct any awkward parts.
