Round 3 will forever be the greatest fight night game and boxing in general to me. Idc about champion. The nostalgia, the sound track, the atmosphere. It all works
Same bro. I don’t think a boxing game will ever surpass it for me. It was such a huge improvement at the time and they just got the swag and style of boxing down. It was perfection
@@Mc-pq1lo 4 was terrible imo and champion was better than 4 but still had some of the same problems with stamina and it just feeling like rock em sock em
@@Gamingistherapyforme bro 3 was realistic in terms of stamina, damage, etc. but be honest, I’ve played every version of round 3 and all you need to do is weave and spam punches and it’s easy. I’ve almost never been challenged even in the hardest difficulty
@@buck_wild_spr1916 nah u don’t understand. Fight night actually felt like u were the fighter instead of you controlling a fighter. There’s a difference. Fight night the best
@@SwervoButtah I’m not saying fight night isn’t goated but the UFC Undisputed games were phenomenally put together. You did feel like you were the fighter especially in any grappling situation
Configuration 3 Ricky, this was my shit back in the day and it’s most DEFINITELY the best fight night to come out. Them flash KOs be so fire #40:00 🔥 ohh and BLOCK my guy 😂 you just leaning
Fnr3 gameplay was the greatest boxing simulation to ever be created like a real boxer you could dip down rotate the hips and come bk with counter shots and you could box at your own pace rather than a middle of the ring fire fight its the best one out the series and quite possibly the greatest boxing simulation ever in my opinion I still own a ps2 and play this game still along with other ps2 classics such as canis canem edit and manhunt 1/2 👍
Arturo Gatti was my favorite fighter of all time. Those 3 Mickey Ward fights were some of the greatest of all time. If you never saw them you should definitely look them up on TH-cam. Yeah it definitely sounds like Arturo Gattis wife killed him. It's sad such a legend and warrior went out like that. Winky Wright was a beast he beat a lot of great fighters.
This is the best game in the fight night series for me, also the online servers for this game I heard is being revived for the Xbox so Ricky you should definitely make a video fighting folks online 🔥
I’m not completely sure but if I remember correctly you can parry with holding R1 and moving the right analog to where your opponent is swinging. That’s the feature you hated that slowed you down.
My favorite Fight Night games of all time was definitely Fight Night 2004 and Fight Night champion for sure. If EA could make another Fight Night game we all gonna be there for sure. 💯🔥
14:40 it's a counter, the hottest thing on this game... when you counter someone's punch they lose all momentum and have a "OPEN BODY" to put work on😂😂😂
3MG they got an insta rock mechanic..hold the left bumper and take the right stick and go semi circle right down then semi circle from bottom going right back to the top all one motion like winding up a big right hook ..insta rock.
P.s to do the insta rock u need to use the stick at least for that specific move they have control options to combine button and stick controls together.. best option
Bruh i was sick in this fight night. You had full control of your punches on here. And the parry Block was sick because you had free punches after the block
The Reason it keeps going slow like that, is Because they Parrying your Punch 🥊 which in terms leaves you open For a big shot, but you can do the same as well its all about timing, so try and mix and shots up because AI will Recognizes ya pattern and start parrying you crazy. Enjoy the Game Brother. Thanks for the memories with this 1 🔥. First time Watcher.
Always like how it doesn't explain Why your rival hates you in the carrer Mode. He cheats by headbutting you etc. Even at the press conference starting Fights.
My guy you didn't use block in any of these fights. I was waiting for you to study the controls for a bit but you waited until the last fight really and you still never used block once (not sure if you looked at the controls and edited it out but still). That's why you were letting your opponent get such high punch stats and percentage on you. All the fights they got over 70% of their punches on you bro. If any of those fights came down to a decision you'd lose because they were getting more points. This is where the right stick controls come in handy (and for haymakers like someone else said) so you can block high, low and left and right. You can't do that with the other buttons. You get more momentum when you block a punch and make them miss then counter vs. letting yourself get hit and hitting back. I'm playing the PS2 version of this right now and I used to play it back in the day but I had to go and study the controls again and get it right. IMO using the right stick is the best for most situations (occasionally you get a punch or clinch you don't want) just due to more control and less button mashing and then of course the blocking control is huge which Fight Night Champion made too easy and took out.

@@Mc-pq1lo aes·thet·ically no. Rd3 really captured the grimey gritty boxing feel especially when you first start.

Fight Night Round 2 was my number one favourite boxing game next to Round 3 and 2004 from the PS2 era
Fight night series in general are hands down the best combat sport games to ever be made
Idk the UFC Undisputed series was 🔥🔥🔥 as well
And the n64 wrestling game series if they count?!

Bruh winky wright was nice back in his day look him up
Definitely
I go back to this one more than I do any other fight night game. This one was like that for real!
Fight night round 3 on the ps2 was the first boxing game that I played and I played round 2 as well, definitely one of the best boxing games

Use to mess with knockout kings and Knockout kings 2000 heavy. Fight night 2004 and Champion are my favorite.
Fight night 2004 was revolutionary

Forget that cheese special punch. Slip the punch come back with a haymaker. You can only do haymakers with the stick. Pull back then go forward
Yes answer is yes
I love Champion but Round 3 and 4 are the ones. I loved jumping between weight classes in round 3
I need more of this round 3
All them other fight nights are cool and all but this my shit! 💯
Arturo Gatti VS Micky Ward imo is the best trilogy in boxing
Graphics and handles were top tier

Some even try to go for the head too.

are u using emulators?
Yea
Yes sir it was imo it’s the best fight night
I like round 4
The best
Too slow for ps3 tbh its better on ps2
Fight night round 3 on ps2 is better
