Honestly I love your videos. I watch them over and over again. I usually fall asleep listening to you. But that is a good thing. I love the comments you have on this game. I found you randomly and I haven’t got enough. You are the best. I found a few other people like you. But I shuffle between all of them. I like yours more. Just be yourself I love it. I only say this because people say different things about you. I guess it depends what you want. I want you to make good videos and have fun. If you need something else then try changing. I’ll probably keep watching you. Don’t change for others though. But you must for the moneyzzz. And I understand. You want be changing yourself by changing your videos if you have ever been inclined to do so. People will keep watching you. It is worth try honestly.
14:43 Dex, that supervillain laugh right there is INSANE, have you ever thought about voice acting? Edit: 20:16 Dex I’m serious the laughs alone are VA worthy
20:01 I have a question for you, Dex. Why didn't you choose to transmute all your weapons to be non-mettalic so that you wouldn't pick them out with magnets, so you wouldn't kill the enemies and make it easier to farm gold? And this may be wrong, but it wouldn't negatively affect you whenever you need the damage late-game, because doing this would allow you to farm so much gold that turning them back into metal wouldn't be an issue.
Ethereal items that don't do anything on collection may as well be wooden so that they heal/block your dam. Giving a silver lining to when you accidentally collect them. Whetstone, glass cleaner, wood oil, hand of Midas, and even some non ethereal ones like honey and magnets.
To be honest, having wood oil when you have the dam is fairly pointless, but regarding other ones you are right. Basically anything that has no "on collection" should be made into wood, as the "in the machine effect" will stay.
Hey dex, something neat I just discovered, if you get 2 glass cleaners, they will both apply, so you could potentially get even more uses on the rings and potions!
While Garbage Greg's paw is good, the problem is that in a harpoon build you don't want to have too many items, cause you want to pick items one-by-one for maximum multiplication, and many items make that hard. Overall I am glad you confirmed, that the cleaner stacks with multiple use buffs the same way as other ones, basically granting one extra use.
You know if you have 3 (lucky paws) that change claws you can have 3 (or more if you get the additional claw perks) claws always. So you can get 6 claws at once
An interesting combo I just thought of: - Fill tank with Water - Teddy Bear to make Fluff, which floats. - Turn Hand of Midas to Wood so it floats. - Floating Hand of Midas turns Fluff into Coins which sink to the bottom, which get collected by a Magnet. - Magnet Claw to grab your huge bundle of sunken treasure from the bottom of the tank.
You could remove or change all metal things so only the coins are still metal and those tend to massively fly around if there's nothing keeping them together like a magnet
Unfortunately, the video shows why I don't like the dam so much, it makes a lot of items more or less useless, which in my opinion limits the game a lot. I think you could set up a similar build without the dam and instead focus on strength and dodging (mirror as an alternative if you don't want to attack with the brass knuckles), because when it comes to dodging in endless mode it doesn't matter how much the opponents scale and you can even take it with you into the next turn with the appropriate talents. (with strength and block they would simply become too strong at some point, or you wouldn't be able to buff your own strength quickly enough) Alternatively you could try Col. Banner, instead of strength/evasion you would also go for block/evasion which would then provide the necessary attack strength thanks to his ability (can you replace both standard grippers with lucky paws?) Btw, a small warning if you play with harpoons, never, NEVER! use the talent that makes the items smaller at the end of the round (I did that once because I thought it would be easier to pick out the items individually) unfortunately meant that I couldn't get my gold dagger (no idea why, but the game apparently no longer counted the hit with the harpoon) Das Video zeigt leider warum ich den Damm nicht so sehr mag, er macht viel Items mehr oder weniger nutzlos, was meiner Meinung nach, das Spiel sehr einschränkt.
While it wasn't absolutely necessary after the first boss, Dex needs to get into the habit of going to grandma's after the boss fights in case he needs to heal.
Dex: Doing a run all about accumulating Strength
Also Dex: "Hä?! Why am I doing so much damage?"
The accent is beautiful
I obviously havent watched yet, but jsut wanted to say I love your videos and hope you love making them as much as i love watching them!
@@Ethan54006 and i think its admirable that he uploads so consistently
I admire how there are 2 positive comments together. It's very rare in the TH-cam environment.
Same, instant like for Dex's videos. Love his vids about Dungeon Clawlers, brighten my day a little

The laughs keep me coming back.
Dex is a villain from comics who enjoys playing roguelike games in his crazy manner

Oh and great video btw!
I came here to suggest this very thing! Plus it would be really really funny to kill stuff with cloth daggers and paperclips.
I like listening to this in the background of working/playing other games and Dex’s little giggles are so amusing
That was a crazy run! As always, peak content!

Have you tried a fortune cookie only build? They are pretty crazy sometimes.

23:20 That's a nice amount of gold you got there...

7:38 a combination of the sword's high base dmg of 10 + 18 strength + garbage greg's paw

5x seems pretty good
I bet the next game Dex is gonna break is Ballionaire :D
Der Endlosmodus hätte mich damit noch interresiert xD aber das spiele ich nach!
Is the junk shoot item still in the game that deals damage for each item added to the tank? If so metallic teddy run would be crazy
when I play with the dam and get the magnet, I transmute the magnet to wood so it gives me block instead of doing nothing when picked up
Couldn't have you transmuted all weapons to non metal so only magnets picked up coins
You could remove or change all metal things so only the coins are still metal and those tend to massively fly around if there's nothing keeping them together like a magnet
Strength, it's your density 😁
So do the Plinko item rooms actually have themes? Or is that something that Dex is just joking about? xD
All Hail Swolenan the Bun-barian!
Dex if dam gets shields or health by wooden items then why not change some items to wood like the strength potion
so that the glass cleaner makes it activate an extra time
You should turn the weapons into glass or plastic so the magnet only gets the gold
They need to add an item that works like the trash can but for coins. It just sucks up all the gold and easy to collect
Sadly piggy bank doesn't do that. How about a saving tower? I mean, a cylinder that has a hole for coins.
This build. Convert metal weapons to glass for a joke. Magnets so you only have the money stuff.
And the glass items get an extra use
What happens if you transmute the glass cleaner to glass?
seeing how it does nothing when collected, it would do nothing twice.
(Nord-)amerikanischeureinwohner
Indiana spirit animal, hah!

Dam that's insane
Any way to get cat and dam?
Yes, he's done that in a previous playthrough. ^^
they changed the bomb mechanic??? it was one of the best ones!!!
I do this with Chief Burner 1 his paw and 2 harpoons it's unbeatable unl ss you accidentally hit a reflection or get insta poisoned
You can gain strength whenever you crit with that one perk you said is useless in the last video.
While it wasn't absolutely necessary after the first boss, Dex needs to get into the habit of going to grandma's after the boss fights in case he needs to heal.
if you turn all your weapons into plastic you can just farm money forever lol
🔥🔥🔥
