You have such a good heart. After you held the monkey for a few minutes he seemed to draw into himself. In my humble opinion, I think this monkey has been emotionally damaged, poor thing. Near the end it seemed like Yoyo was trying to tell you that he wanted to go. I could see on your face that you really wanted to save that monkey. You are a good man.
Sometimes people think they are helping an animal even though they struggle with taking care of themselves. So sometimes they think they can fix the animal with love but the animal only suffers. Id go back in a couple weeks and try again. Maybe by then she will realize that there is more to rasing a monkey than she thought.
I noticed the look you had on your face when you have the poor monkey back to its owner. It was a look of concern and sorry for it. I could see the compassion you had for it.
