I’ve been a number of times to see the real Trsat dragon (I mean the statue!). The castle which is the location of the statue is at a high up ‘suburb’ of Rijeka - a major port city in northern Croatia.
Up there are great views of the Kvarner Bay - including the famous Croatian resort of Opatija. The best views are from the top of that round tower - shown on the coin box.
To get up there, you have to negotiate over 500 steps - then you can just get the bus back into the city centre!

The Trsts Dragon is very cool, id give it a rating of 972 out of a thousand lol. But the design looks like my old favourite mint MCI, similar artwork to the Burkina Faso coins such as the Wolpertinger and dragon coins. And the 1g gold is a must have.

It's really difficult to know. Sometimes I get these coins before they are readily available and even then there are lots of retailers that charge vastly different prices.

I don't know if these are public yet for the retail partners of the Germania Mint. I would buy as a collectable, not as a stacking item.
