That's why G.U.N and the United Federation decide to honor Gerald, since he (obviously) didn't deserve to have his project shutdown and his granddaughter killed when he was acting with wholly good intentions when creating Shadow and the Eclipse cannon. It was only because the humans wronged him that he was driven insane and started making doomsday plans for earth, completely abandoning his own morals because of his overwhelming grief.
Actually, if you delay the battle against Devil Doom long enough at a certain point, it will be revealed that one of Dr. Eggman's robots saved Shadow at the end of Sonic Adventure 2..

Given his line half-way into the fight, I think the idea is that he didn't think Shadow would be able to defeat him even with the Emeralds. Chances are he didn't even know Super forms were a thing. So rather than just leaving them behind, it's more that in his mind there was simply no reason to keep hold of them, they'd servered their purpose.

My personal story for this game would be this: After the opening cutscene, Shadow decides to remain neutral and just look for the green and blue Chaos Emeralds in Westopolis, ignoring Black Doom’s orders and Sonic’s requests for help. After Black Doom sends him to Glyphic Canyon against his will, Shadow develops a grudge against him and helps Knuckles take down his forces, finding and collecting the yellow Chaos Emerald in the process. Shadow then travels to Circus Park and once again, he stays neutral, just searching for the silver Chaos Emerald. However, he feels like he knows Eggman from somewhere, and decides to get information on him in hopes of finding out more about his past. After helping Team Chaotix hack into Eggman’s computer, Shadow helps Espio in extracting data for his own gain. He takes Eggman’s statement about his past with a grain of salt. He joins Sonic on his trip to the ARK, and takes the cyan Chaos Emerald, and the alarms that go off when he does this triggers a flashback of the time when he helped Maria calm the Artificial Chaos and her gruesome death shortly after. He travels to the Black Comet and confronts Black Doom with Sonic, whom he asks about his past while on the comet. Sonic explains to Shadow the events of SA2, and Shadow thanks Sonic for the information before finding the purple Chaos Emerald. The duo then fight Black Doom and get the red Chaos Emerald, but when Shadow starts his monologue about who he is, Black Doom quickly steals the Emeralds and warps the Black Comet down to Earth. He runs away, and Shadow tells Sonic to leave the comet, telling him that this isn’t his battle. Sonic obliges, and wishes Shadow luck before escaping. The rest of the story plays out the same. Shadow learns about how he was created, Team Chaotix active the video, and Shadow defeats Black Doom and teleports the Black Comet to space (where the Eclipse Cannon blows it up) using the Chaos Emeralds.
I really don't seem to understand why Vector, Espio, and Charmy wasn't with them after the others got themselves paralyzed. Where the hell are they even at, anyway? Looks like to me they're in some sort of spacecraft in space.
And biolizard. Everyone thinks she was a creation of the black Arms. But she was created from the blood of some kind of monitor lizard (megalania?) it was shadow who was the one with alien blood in his veins! This scream was first perfect chaos' the biolizard's then devil dooms. It doesn't fit with devil doom as this is a noise of agony and torment. Both biolizard and chaos were in AGONY and ultimately not truly evil but devil doom was satanic. This wail of anguish does not fit him at all...

Also, the joke makes no sense to begin with, it's not like Black Doom said "Prepare to meet your maker for the first time!" You can meet someone without it being the first time you do so.

I like how there’s some endings where he accepts the fact that he is an android and not the real Shadow and that the real Shadow had died. However, in the true ending in the final fight against Black Doom, once it goes on long enough, Eggman reveals that Shadow actually IS the real Shadow.
Something that I REALLY don't understand is... All this we were playing with the REAL Shadow, because if that's true, why did Eggman said in the Neutral Route said that he and Omega were HIS creations, and if we really were with the REAL Shadow, did he died in the end when he managed to destroy the Black Comet, or did he survived, because if he really died does that mean that the Shadow in 22:14 was just one of his Android versions or the REAL Shadow?

This is the only canon ending in the game, it's the real ending. All of the other endings are alternated realities created of how you choose Shadow's path in the game. The real ending will unlocked after you get all of the alternated endings.

I don't know if people know this already, but here goes anyway: Fun fact: If you connected a second controller while playing the main story, you could play as any Npc you met (Excluding Doom's eye and Eggman).
I don't know how Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, and the rest of the group managed to escape the comet after having that paralysis gas invading their systems like that. Once you have reached total paralysis in your system while being stuck in an alien comet, there's no escaping death, especially if there is a race of evil aliens involved.
With the way the biolizard died I was expecting a much more gruesome death for black doom. His death seems rushed. He was like the devil and died pretty quickly whereas the biolizard was just an abused reptile who was suppose to help people but got brainwashed by her own creator. Her death was horrific and brutal and was quite sad. I wish black doom has suffered as badly. He just fell to his death after having his eye poked out.
the one thing I noticed was that in some parts of the final story, Black Doom actually BLINKS like twice in the entire game and it happens only in this part of the game. Also, if you notice Shadow when he's about to use the chaos spear, his hands are like, "BOI..."

I am glad Tails and the others are happy. Tails is certainly happy to see that Shadow delivered justice for the hate crimes Black Doom committed against humanity (and is especially glad Black Doom lost his natural habitat for good) and that all their friends and everyone else are all safe and sound.

@@zacharykenniston748 dude, Eggman is Sonic's most common enemy. He once made the Final Egg Blaster, and used it to destroy multiple STARS. This is Sonic's most common enemy. Then, that energy was absorbed by Emerl, who also had absorbed some power from the Chaos Emeralds, making him lose control. Sonic then defeated him. Didn't even need a Super form. It's also a fact (not an opinion) that Sonic can move at light-speed. Considering that Shadow is pretty much his equal in speed, I believe this applies to him as well. I just can't see the Flood killing Shadow(who can become temporarily invulnerable multiple times, and possesses many types of energy attacks) especially since they have a hard time killing a single human (sure, he is a badass Super Soldier with Mad Skillz, but his abilities aren't on the same level).

But she was created from the blood of some kind of monitor lizard (megalania?) it was shadow who was the one with alien blood in his veins! This scream was first perfect chaos' the biolizard's then devil dooms. It doesn't fit with devil doom as this is a noise of agony and torment. Both biolizard and chaos were in AGONY and ultimately not truly evil but devil doom was satanic. This wail of anguish does not fit him at all...
And his appearance in the first cutscene is literally his model just clipping through the ground and floating up. Christ.

Stephen Byrne Yeah, and then Shadow’s game was about finding out who or what he was. I like how there’s some endings where he accepts the fact that he is an android and not the real Shadow and that the real Shadow had died. However, in the true ending in the final fight against Black Doom, once it goes on long enough, Eggman reveals that Shadow actually IS the real Shadow.
Something that I REALLY don't understand is... All this we were playing with the REAL Shadow, because if that's true, why did Eggman said in the Neutral Route said that he and Omega were HIS creations, and if we really were with the REAL Shadow, did he died in the end when he managed to destroy the Black Comet, or did he survived, because if he really died does that mean that the Shadow in 22:14 was just one of his Android versions or the REAL Shadow?
strange thing to note but I like the attention to detail where shadows SOAP shoes give of a jet boost when jumping and firing a gun.

This is the only canon ending in the game, it's the real ending. All of the other endings are alternated realities created of how you choose Shadow's path in the game. The real ending will unlocked after you get all of the alternated endings.

I have a headcanon that during the events of The Last Way, Omega is storming Lava Shelter on his own, while it's defenceless. There he destroys both the facility and the Shadow Android production line.

I don't know how Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, and the rest of the group managed to escape the comet after having that paralysis gas invading their systems like that. Once you have reached total paralysis in your system while being stuck in an alien comet, there's no escaping death, especially if there is a race of evil aliens involved.
With the way the biolizard died I was expecting a much more gruesome death for black doom. His death seems rushed. He was like the devil and died pretty quickly whereas the biolizard was just an abused reptile who was suppose to help people but got brainwashed by her own creator. Her death was horrific and brutal and was quite sad. I wish black doom has suffered as badly. He just fell to his death after having his eye poked out.

the one thing I noticed was that in some parts of the final story, Black Doom actually BLINKS like twice in the entire game and it happens only in this part of the game. Also, if you notice Shadow when he's about to use the chaos spear, his hands are like, "BOI..."

Although I like this Last Story. Shadow isn't nearly as edgy and tryhard as in the other timelines. He's more similar to his SA2 self.

I am glad Tails and the others are happy. Tails is certainly happy to see that Shadow delivered justice for the hate crimes Black Doom committed against humanity (and is especially glad Black Doom lost his natural habitat for good) and that all their friends and everyone else are all safe and sound.

@@zacharykenniston748 dude, Eggman is Sonic's most common enemy. He once made the Final Egg Blaster, and used it to destroy multiple STARS. This is Sonic's most common enemy.
Then, that energy was absorbed by Emerl, who also had absorbed some power from the Chaos Emeralds, making him lose control. Sonic then defeated him. Didn't even need a Super form.
It's also a fact (not an opinion) that Sonic can move at light-speed. Considering that Shadow is pretty much his equal in speed, I believe this applies to him as well.
I just can't see the Flood killing Shadow(who can become temporarily invulnerable multiple times, and possesses many types of energy attacks) especially since they have a hard time killing a single human (sure, he is a badass Super Soldier with Mad Skillz, but his abilities aren't on the same level).
