Wonderful as always! 😄 This sure will help us beginner artists to create gorgeous paintings without compromising the environment. Thank you for all the effort and love put into your videos! 😁
I was just looking for a normal video with some tips on how to recycle the turpentine and found this masterpiece, thank you for this, your videos are awesome!
You are so brilliant at video editing !! It would have been easy to make this a quick tiktok length video, but you went above & beyond, which makes it more engaging to watch.
Awe... thank you so much!! It was fun to make. I am overjoyed you liked it. I based it loosely on the original trailer for "Vertigo." I love that movie. Thanks for watching and your super kind words. Cheers!
Really fantastic information and style in this one! I've been learning a few things the hard way after a few months of trying out oils (I main acrylics) and stepping on every available rake. This type of thing is really frustrating starting out so this is hugely helpful!
Excellent! Glad it was helpful! And I understand completely... I also started out on acrylics and transitioning to oils took a minute. There is just such much chemistry involved, but the journey is so worth it. Oddly enough, learning oils made me a much better acrylic painter. Who knew! Cheers and happy painting. Thanks for watching and leaving a note.
I love this video. I've been painting with oil paints for some time but since I left school I needed to become more conscious about what to do with art waste. I too have recycled glass bottles for the used solvent as for disposal of collected paint waste I've learnt that I wasn't being eco-friendly or safe. I am excited to watch your other videoes. This video was both educational and brilliantly entertaining. Thank you!
Wonderful! I am so glad you enjoyed it. I was the same way since graduating art school myself. Healthy habits mean we can paint for many years to come. And I had some terrible safety habits during school... yikes! Anyway, I really appreciate your kindness. Thank you for watching. I am so happy it was helpful. Cheers and happy painting! :)
Ayyyyyyy!!! A new video!!!! And guy: Hahahaha I was NOT expecting this!!!! You’re a machine!!! The diversity and consistent fantastic-ery. So. WONDERFUL. You’re so gifted. Really really REALLY well done. Thank you so much for these!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤ AMAZING
You're the best! Thank you...thank you...thank you! I am sooooo glad you enjoyed it. The video was so much fun to make. More quick tip videos are on the way, all with a different motif. Thank you again for all the support, I really appreciate it!
@@michaeljohnnolan thank YOU for the awesome videos!!! I admit I prepare myself for the inevitable release of one that matches other peoples’ tastes, but doesn’t meet the high bar standard you’ve spoiled me with. And no doubt that day will come because you can’t please everyone all the time!!! But Jeez Louise, you are shockingly versatile AND you do each new format so masterfully. Truly impressive and
I might be doing it wrong, but I don’t think it hurts. If you know otherwise, DEFINITELY let me know. I’m trying to do good as my feeble payment/gratitude for your hard work 👍 ☺️
Awe... thank you again. Haha. Nice work with spacing out the comment over a couple of different entries. Smart. Thanks again for all your help and support. Making these videos is just fun and I am so overjoyed that they connect and help out too. You're the best! @@shrug_shrugsly
Please continue, I love your art and visions and you're videos are so different and entertaining. You can tell A LOT of love and effort goes into them♡ Edit: very informative too! You did it champ! Great Job! *said in PSA voice*
Thank you! That made my day. I am... the newest one has taken me over 3 months so far. It will be an hour and half long going over the foundation of oil painting. I'm aiming for first week of November. Then after that, I hope to have a video out every month. Again, I appreciate your support. Cheers!
Nice! That was the idea. I did so many takes to try to find that 50's announcer voice. haha. I am so glad you enjoyed the video. It means a lot! Thank you.
This video was GREAT! the editing was super entertaining and it actually helped me to learn LOL. I’m too afraid to use Turpentine from the potential harms I was reading about it, but would it be possible to make a video on how you mix your oil/solvents ratios (if you do) to go from lean to fat? I’m still new to oil painting and learning a lot by watching TH-cam about it. Thank you for the awesome video!
Excellent! Thank you so much. I am so glad you enjoyed the video. I completely understand... I am also trying to reduce my solvent exposure. Currently I am using walnut oil to clean my brushes during a painting session. And yes, that would make a very cool topic for a painting video. I will add it to my list. Thanks for the idea and suggestion.
Awe... thank you! That is just amazing. I am honored and humbled. I am so glad you like the videos. Thanks for the support. Best of luck with the painting!
Thank you very much! I am so glad you enjoyed the video. That would be a great idea for a video. Sadly, I am not that familiar with water-soluble oils. I have only used them a couple of times. Thanks again for the note and kindness. Cheers!
Thanks for watching! Check out my Oil Painting Basics playlist.

You nailed the vintage PSA style. This also works with watercolor paint sludge.
Excellent! Thank you. I appreciate your time and insight. Thanks for watching. Cheers!

Interesting and informative video once again! 🙌
Do you have any experience with water-soluble oil paints? If so, a video would be really great 😊

That was fun. I don't have mango juice jar, would cranberry be a suitable substitute?
Always!!! 😀 Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
