Do you find the harmony of this song really enigmatic? Seriously… it can be interpreted as in Bb major, or Eb major. The two parts of the song are identical. But it keeps strike me as the first half is in Bb and second in Eb… I feel that the first chorus is IV-IVm… and the second chorus is I-Im… even thought they are identically Eb-Ebm. The beginning of the verse can either be IIm-V… or VIm-II.. this is the weirdest song I have ever seen. I still couldn’t tell for sure if the interlude ended on tonic or dominant. It’s so ambiguous. I mean… this song is blowing my mind. Even the start, prelude: is it really I-V-I-V? Or secretly IV-I-IV-I, only if you see it as in Bb major instead of Eb major. This is too mysterious…
