    City of Ur in Babylon was part of of the Assyrian Empire who were the Birth of Civilization and it was the Assyrians who should get credit for ALL not Sumerians. It's what was learned in college. Stip rewriting history!!!

      Where did the Assyrians come from? Do you think these people sprang up from nothing and built major cities and knew metallurgy and fabric production and social structures? It is not the place where the Birth of Civilization was founded. It started way before them in which records have been lost to time. Take your own advice and stop rewriting history.
