About 7 months ago, something brought me to you, and I listened to your teachings. It was an exhilarating and uplifting experience. I took notes on your words guiding me and a checklist as well. Then something turned upside-down. It was as if a giant snake had coiled up and bit me in the neck. A sudden loss of consciousness came, and my studies were interrupted again. As I slowly woke up again after fainting, I decided to follow your guidance. What else was there to do? There was really nothing to lose. I read the first chapter of your Yoga Sutras, and I felt it could take years to meet those expectations, so I stopped reading them further. You told me to dance and sing. I was honest with myself and did the daily short yoga and breathing practice. Otherwise, I get back pain after some time. What a better idea! I went to a concert. I was loving to everybody, and I respected everyone. I was not lazy, a romor-mongering person. I was not selfish and danced with others. I was sweet and humble. But something went wrong anyway. What I saw was that people were getting half-naked, drinking alcohol without a brake, and getting high and infatuated by bodily pleasure and satisfaction. I found myself in the company of demons whose only concern was the body, and they were very aware of their gender, I have to say. It took me 30 years to realize that physical pleasures don't make me happy. Although they are sweet as honey at first, they become poison. Somehow, it's the other way around with you. It was very unpleasant at the beginning. My question is, if I find no meaning in the pleasures of the physical, if we are not the body, then what is the purpose of life? What else is there to know?
