actually, there is a much faster way. If you are able to escape by going through the end portal, that means your spawnpoint is not in the prison. That means when you got the TNT you couldv'e just blown yourself up and you will be free.
He does take damage from the TNT at the quartz room, so either he can take damage on peaceful or this isn't peaceful mode. Also, he keeps losing hunger, so this is not peaceful.
Thank god in this one he actually broke the slab and put it on the top to get to the next room instead of finding a way to make a jump potion 10 likes??

Here are the few things I've noticed: 1/ 8:01 crafts a potion of fire resistance from a water bottle + magma cream, despite not having any nether wart in their inventory (you need an awkward potion to make fire resistance!). Could argue that their was already nether wart in the brewing stand, but I suppose it would have been shown 2/ 9:41 a second piston magically appears in their inventory when they've only picked up one

That brewing stand wasn’t there before…..
And you also need nether wart to get an awkward potion, because you can't brew fire resistance directly from a water bottle
I checked again, the brewing stand was actually already there though (you can see the particles when he spawns in the end)
