    This was the BEST review! And I has watched over 40!! Thank you so much. So many great tips. Did you notice is the kids club is open? All kids water areas open? I’m alo worried about the height requirements on the water slides. My girls are 10 and 12. They are total thrill seeker’s and ride all the super scary rides at Disney. My son is seven but I expect him not to be tall enough.

    I am a Palace member that said when you arrive at any of these places they the hotel give you 99.99% the most beautiful or handsome sales rep as soon as you get to the hotel! Just say NO or you will talk to them later. The last thing anyone wants after a day of travel is to be forced to buy into a vacation club that is a small fortune. That said for a family especially those with kids that are active the GRAND hands down is one of the best places to stay! Top of line service 90% of the time great food especially the steak house. The facility is stunning and has absolutely everything you need to either RELAX or have a blast with family or friends.
    If you can afford a swim up sweet you will not regret the extra money it will cost once again especially if you have kids! I have to almost every Palace resort except LaBlanc and the new ones in the DR and they are all very clean usually great service and have very good food! For a family especially an active family The Grand is absolutely 100% worth a try!

      Honestly I think it’s one of the best resorts for that age group. Especially since the beach isn’t that great to swim you don’t have to be stressed about them in the ocean but they can still play in the sand. There’s so much to do for them there! Yes there are plenty of places for parents to sit at the water park!

    another fantastic video. how would you rate this against the Majestic Elegance? we are considering a trip to Cancun April 2023 and our first choice is majestic Elegance as we visited Majestic Mirage in Punta Cana and absolutely loved it. did your room have two bathrooms? is the resort close enough to the main road to catch a bus? the other time we visited Cancun we stayed at the Grand Oasis Palm which was right on the main road and was easy to catch a bus if you wanted to go into the city. is there an adult-only section to this Resort?

    • @3Days3Noches
      @3Days3Noches 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! That means a lot that you are taking the time to watch them!! So the beach at The Grand is no good. So if you are a beach person it’s not for you. There is an adults only pool and some bars etc.

    Are excursions included on all inclusive? Are there different levels of band?

    • @3Days3Noches
      @3Days3Noches 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The excursions are not included! But the Palace resorts usually offers some resort credits with your stay to apply to it.

  • @ryanmazur1812
    @ryanmazur1812 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    So this review is missing key points. One, whenever and wherever you stay, you get access to resort credits which can be used for the spa and excursions. You just have to pay a 16% service charge of the balance every time you use the resort credits. Second, Palace Elite completely changes your experience at the resort! You should go the sales meeting and take the calls so you can get to experience Palace Elite perks for rest of your trip as well as receive an additional $300 credit to reduce the service charge fees billed to your room!

    • @3Days3Noches
      @3Days3Noches 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you so much! I actually became a Palace Elite member since this video and I don’t totally agree with your experience as a member. We stayed at the Sun Palace and many of the options you could not use your resort credits for and even in the gift shop by the time you pay the taxes and fees you are still paying etc. And It was only if you were a Diamond member That it made any difference. I. haven’t totally made my mind up yet if it’s worth it. I definitely appreciate this input!😄

    Good honest review, but what the American reviewers don't tell you (or don't know) is that the cost for staying in "The Grand" ---- if you are European ----- is absolutely insane and a lot different to prices for US customers. The basic entry level 'garden view' room is £966 per night for 2 adults & 1 young child (who supposedly stays for free anyway). In Euro - that's €1,150 per night. Or in US Dollars, it's $1,300 per night. Are they insane with these prices? I'd want to be staying in the presidential suite for that sort of money, with private transfers everywhere, and a different sort of room service too....if you catch my drift. Good review though, thanks. Looking good

Next they offer you free breakfast tour which includes trying to sell you another vacation right away, and if you say no their friendly attitude changes because they get paid off commission. Lastly if you love clean beaches this is not the resort for you one of the worst beaches I’ve seen and it smell so bad. I will never come here again. By the way they have cats all over the resort because I believe the have a mouse 🐁 problem and if you order room service you will have a small ant 🐜 problem too unbelievable. The best part was the pools until somebody kids took a shit. I came back the next day and the shit was still in the pool unbelievable. Go to the adult pool only.
