Nice guide. Thanks! One thing I wanted to mention is that hired thugs are sent by you after first stealing, so you didn't have to steal anything from Anise because you stole from fisherman before.
Thanks for rolling with the Redguards. Pretty underrated race. Yeah people will bring up that “vegetable soup” technique when it comes to stamina use, but Redguards can basically become to immune to poison with a starting 50% resistance and some investment in the alchemy skill.
The best way to level up Heavy Armor: Step one: Be sure to have the well rested bonus at the Markarth inn and the warrior stone and fast travel to Dushnikh Yal and talk to the blacksmith Gharol for heavy armor skill training (You have to be friends with the orcs to do this so in Markarth talk to the blacksmith and ask her what's wrong with her apprentice. She will tell you to find the book 'The Last Scabbard of Akrash, look it up if you don't know where to find it. After you give it to her she will make you friends with the orcs. Alternatively just be an Orc yourself.) Step two: Go to Embershard mine and let the bandit hit you a couple of times for the free level up in heavy armor, (with healing equipped) be sure to have some magicka available for calm ready or be Imperial for emperor's voice Step three: Make some merchandise (High value potions via alchemy) until you level up (You can switch to the thief stone for faster leveling up) be sure to level up magicka every level until you are can comfortably cast healing then calm on the bandit Step 4: Go back to Markarth and rent a room for the well rested bonus and repeat step one until desired heavy armor level. Done. Also picking stamina is a waste of an attribute for a level up even for a warrior build. If you want extra stamina just put it on your gear. There is barely any reason to improve stamina due to the fact that you can just cook vegetable soup, venision stew, and beef stew to give you infinite power attacks. Magicka is the most effiecient resource in the early to mid game for healing, flesh spells, and other supporting spells that can help you get the advantage over your enemies (again even for warrior builds)
Best Heavy Armor start: Pick any race Go to a tavern Keep asking for rumors Get the "Bones for a Crow" quest Finish quest Get fully enchanted Dragonbone Armor Trivialize the rest of the game Thank you, Creation Club.
You don't even have to do the quest, you can just climb the mountain with a horse( or not) , go to the location of the armor( there is still a few enemies) and take the armor.

It's funny, I have something like 2400 hours on this game and I still really enjoy watching those type of tutorials for the start of the game.

15th
playing on legendary from start is stupid ,
you get way more xp so not really
It's realistic imo you shouldn't be running around slaughtering the game at the beginning anyways
Okay Mr. Novice
