That is actually real for the most part because their Phalanx are equipped with pike that have pointy edge that were design to penetrate armour or sometimes shields

4:55 Cuirassiers are more armoured than normal Cavalry. Hussars are The Lighter version. Lancers use Lances and Dragoons uses Muskets. So do Chesseurs who use muskets and swords

They were at very different time periods. The Renaissance happened just after the medieval period, and saw a wide-spread use of polearms (spears) alongside muskets and other early firearms. It started around the 1400s, and the Napoleonic period saw an incredibly heavy emphasis on gunpowder weapons. It started right before the 1800s and ended in 1815 when Napoleon was exiled for the second time.
The Napolion war was what led Norway to independence.
