I’m overwhelmed because they require so much from me. Every month is a struggle to not end up on the streets. Good morning, as always, I enjoy the powerful devotions. They are a blessing to me daily. There is one correction that needs to be made. Regarding the 3rd temptation of Jesus, Satan told Jesus if you throw yourself down, the angels will bare you up lest you dash your foot against the stone (referencing a verse in Psalms). Satan tried to use God's Word incorrectly and out of context to attempt to sway Jesus. JESUS RESPONDED in Luke 4:12 NLT
[12] Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.’”
It was stated in the devotion that the first statement was Jesus's response but that was Satan. Please review and correct. Love and blessings 🙌🏽 🙏🏽 ❤

Sadly this is the second time that these scriptures about the devil have been misread in these Devotions over the years I have listened because in Luke 4:9-11 it says
”Then he brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ” Then in Luke 4:12 ”And Jesus answered and said to him, “It has been said, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ” So this identifies that the devil knows scriptures. We need to be aware of this. I love listening to these devotionals but don’t understand why they are misreading these particular scriptures and stating that Jesus said ‘It is written’ 3 times!
We must know God’s word, there is no doubt about that.

Demons cannot harm you or your children. Please remember that the ONLY weapon the enemy can use against humans is fear and lies. If the enemy can get you to believe a lie that is good enough for the enemy because he has stolen your joy at that point. Which makes the enemy happy. Always remember that demons tremble at the name of Jesus Christ. God is so much stronger than demons that it’s like a toddler (the demon) being confronted by a football linebacker (God). As soon as you say to yourself and believe it that God is for you and protecting you, God wins. You are protected and your children are protected. Don’t make those wimpy demons out to be stronger than they really are (not). Demons hate and fear the name above all names Jesus Christ. And they hate it when people laugh at them and are not afraid of them.

May God grant me the peace to accept what I cannot change, the strength and courage to change the things that I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Lord you are sovereign and worthy of praise.
