Like a full warden with spirit weapons and defense, a full mage with ultimate arts and endless energy, a full berserker with so many fighting styles, and a full warrior with weapons that inflict status effects.
except in reality not only do they use the same class, they use the same elements, and if that wasn't bad enough. They only use the same two spells 3 if you include an acid spell to proc corossive so that your metal does extra damage

@@CarlDaCool168 air stalling is not difficult to do nor is aimsell at the level of pvp that can be considered good, if anything aimsell is decent and impr3cy is dogshit. A meta warrior's counter is legit people suspended in the air, bc the don't have many moves that punish things suspended mid air.

Ehhh, I wouldn't say mage is a broken class, if anything most mages can't handle cqc so warriors and conjurers alike can counter em but everyone have diff playstyles so it differs
it's not talent, I started out hella average, keep pvping and actively thinking about your flaws and how to overcome them then at some point you'll be at the top

Already using another build but if you're asking me personally I don't like this build's playstyle. Firstly, this build stems from distance keeping and magic synergy. For example if pulsar was used in this build there would be instant soak application so the pulsar nerf doesn't matter as it's tendered to the magic's synergy. Secondly, yes the paralyze last about 0.7s and is made to make your opponent feel 'messed up' in a sense. By not allowing them to get close while also dishing out attacks that both hinder and damage your opponent hard. It can be a very annoying build to go against. Third, the reason you think the build didn't work was probably because they could move after a quarter of a second after they got paralyzed, but that wasn't the point, when you're pvping a paralyze build, everything is locked up, your sword draws, skills, spells. Everything. Therefore when they get close to do a sword draw but get paralyzed it messes up one's pvp 'flow'. Idk how to explain it but it similar to having frame drops. It's definitely not a huge dmg dealer but it's an ideal playstyle and speed a mage should be operating in. But it wasn't for me so much so I'm currently using a fast paced blasts spam lightning magma mage build which focuses on closer range combat depending on your opponent, in a way it feels more versatile as a mage for me.

Thats a very good question, so a cool thing about snares or grabs is general, like how fighting styles and weapon skills has grab skills, when a person grabs you, theres a hidden timer before anyone can grab each other again. How you see this 'timer' is by looking at the person's hp. When someone is hit by a grab move, their hp turns white, this shows that neither party can grab each other when the white hp is still up. And another cool thing is that if you block or hold G, every grab move becomes nullified, so maybe thats why your snare move doesnt work. Hopefully this helped :D
It sure would be, but it all goes down to preference, for example if you run my build, your overall attacks will be faster because lightning is fast to paralyze, where as you can freeze enemies with large aoe with ice but it's slightly slower but both are viable, again it's both up to preference
For most people, if you are mage, Pulsar is a hard carry so if your pulsar is water, its 100% soak application, then all you have to do after that is to paralyze with a beam or placed explosion
Block right when the attack is about to hit you, or when the enemy is lagging block after the attack has been cast and vice versa if you're lagging block before the attack even happens
