モモコはこの日どういうわけか、コモモを置いてその場を立ち去ろうとする行動をしました。乳離れの練習でしょうか？ハオコが近くにいたのですが、コモモはやはりモモコがいいようで、モモコに向かってに歩いていきます。
she isn't rejecting the baby. good grief. She does't want the baby to be in the way of getting hurt, and she's not weaning, either. the baby gorilla will nurse for 2-3 years at least, before being weaned.
Not weaning she just knew Haoko wanted to mate and didn't want baby getting hurt. Notice how in the end she picked up baby. She knows what she's doing. Haoko is a great father. 🦍💖
She's not trying to wean her. She is trying to get her to walk. There are other videos where she is doing the same thing. This is what gorilla moms do. They will walk alittle away from them so the baby has to walk to her.
Exactly. Rather, the mother forces the child to strengthen herself, and second, the child is too young to wean, unless the mother is in pain and a veterinarian could be needed. Who comes up with these titles?
Baby’s too young to wean. She might be teaching the baby to go off and play to develop the muscles
No screaming and throwing fits. A pretty smooth transition.
I’ve never watched a gorilla ‘couple’ work together in raising the infant like these two. Yes, he seems to always be checking to see if she is in estrus and wants his lady ALL the time but he also takes time for the caring of the infants. Is he this way with all the females or is she his special choice??? Quite interesting! ❤️🦍❤️
Brothers Haoko and Shibani came from Australia where they had a very stable family and had a wonderful dad and their Mother (perhaps just one of their Mothers) also is the mother to Kijuvi in Prague and she is such a sensitive, loving Mother. They had good childhoods and were not taken away too early.
You seriously think repeatedly sticking your finger into your infant daughter to sniff and lick the same way you're probing your wife as you consider penetrating is great parenting? Yikes.

ゴリラの母親は自分の時間(食事や昼寝の為)を持つために、赤ん坊がある程度育つと父親に子守を任せるようになるのでその過程ですかね。

I never see a mother leaving her baby behind
really very surprised to see that gorillas also prevent their BBs 🐒 when mom judges that it is not the time to drink for their BBs? is this a sign of disinterest coming from the mother? or is it a discipline they do for BB Monkey?

Pobre Momoko el macho la acosa permanentemente. Eso no es normal y el zoo no hace nada. Parece que no hay proteccion animal en Japon para ayudar a la pobre gorila.
What you want the keepers to do, go in there and put haoko in a headlock? Unless this has been on going and you are saying they have done nothing.

No it didn't. From this point, Momoko had to breast-feed her for a long time.
Thank goodness it didn't work. They don't get weaned until they are 4 to 5 yrs old.

Japan, despite being a developed country, has very bad standards in the zoo and not only here. This male is terrible to the female and should have long been separated from him.

I love how the male did a little “finger check” to see if the “water was warm”, and she was ready…..right up to how she smelled. LOL. Every man of age can relate to that little maneuver….LOL

I once saw a female who wanted to be mated vigorously rub her own genitals before try6to get the silverback to mate. I still dont know why.
it was a dance showing that the female is ready to mate, she is not here and therefore the male did nothing. Nor is it weaning, the gorilla will be drinking its mother's milk for a long time. Stupid title.
Não se vé Momoko amamentado esse bebê!! Pobrezinho...Por sorte Haoko não fez nada de ruim com seu filhinho. Eu não consigo entender como Haoko tem esse interesse por Momoko mesmo o bebê tendo meses de vida. KIntaro já fez dois anos de vida, e nunca vimos nenhum interesse de Momotaro por Genki. E pelo jeito eles não fazer nada tão cedo. 🦍❣🦍
