I tried reviving my very very old curls and the boiling method actually worked. I hope you guys enjoy this video.

when detangling, if you brush from the ends up, you get a lot less shedding.
I haven’t actually tried to restore the old curls before, this video is very good cus it shows the step on how to get those curls popping.

Idk if she said it but Tresemme is literally the only thing that will revive curly hair or any type of wig! trust me I’ve tried it all. 🤦🏽♀️
I put my 28” curly wig in a washer. Will tresemme work? 😭😭😭 my wig is now a massive hair ball
@@mercyinyang1772 soak it in really hot boiling water with tresemme conditioner and use more tresemme to detangle out the knots

My wig isn’t really damaged it’s more so just dry bc I haven’t wore it in awhile so this hopefully will help thanks

I saw on another YT video to use argon oil and it doesn’t matte. It gives it slip back there. Worked for me!😌
I do but this is not working more damage hair hhhmm
I'm late but will scarf or tie that section down... It will naturally Matt up because it rubs on the back of your neck so always remember that

I bought a Marylin wig from costume connection. Do you think this will destroy the curls? The wig needs work and I have never done this before. It fits my head so well and I wanna make it look nicer.
Not if it's synthetic..it will melt

For fibers try a fabric softener instead of conditioner.

Can it work with synetic wigs?
Wouldn't it be easier on your wig if you removed hair after the soak, apply more conditioner so the brush slides thru easier, then rinse

@@justalawie9591 well yes but it takes a little more given the hair isn’t human and doesn’t act like our hair it’s plastic it’s harder to detangle
@@justalawie9591 What works best ( at least for me ) is silicone mix for both human and synthetic. I have tried this method and it didn't work for me, I ended up throwing out the hair. But she did a great job and it seemed to work for her!

You brushing starting at the top hurt my soul. If you started from the bottom it wouldn't have pulled so much hair out and wouldn't break hairs.
Do you use blow dryer to dry it at the end?
My wig is matted where they applied mousse and heat .how can i detangle it and make the lace soft .its stone strong
Wouldnt the boiling water mess up the curl pattern?
if my wig is synthetic, can i use laundry detergent combined with fabric softener? or should I just use human hair conditioner?
Cap full of fabric softener and it let it sit on the wig at least 30 mins. Then rinse and air dry

Honestly it’ll come out better and the curls
Would pop more and stay moisturized … n u can brush through it more efficiently.

I don't think so because you still have to rinse it out

I have a method mine was too the curls cane back with lotion the skin therapy one from CVS and I finger coiled it and it came back soft when dried
The video doesn't show when it's dry u can see it looks like crap be honest the human hair has fake fibers in it so wash it I'm cold water with ur products then use lotion for dry skin and a curl cream with no alcohol in it brush it til it's damp dry then start finger coiling with lotion it will dry soft if u use some curl creams and gel it will dry hard and natt use lotion like for dry skin
After doing this to my wig, it is now very loose waves rather than curls 😡
You would need to buy leave in conditioner in a water bottle and fill the water bottle up with water. Spray on your curly hair and the curls will bounce back. I recommend using African prides moisture mixture, the curl milk and detangler one. Hope this helps

There was 1 product, the Tressemme conditioner. She showed it. Just pause the video maybe and read the bottle label. 🤷🏽♀️😊
