- Pikes Peak is the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The ultra-prominent 14,115-foot fourteener is located in Pike National Forest, 12 miles west of downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Yeah, when you compare this to the trails in the Adirondacks. I don’t want to hear anyone ever claim hiking out east is easy. This is just a leisurely walk up a big beautiful mountain, definitely not hard though.
I could have bagged it in 5 hours
