Im freaking out. Ive been learning german for half a year and this is too damn fast. Do you guys really speak this fast? Ive always thought german people spoke like strong and slowly xD

Keine sorge! I struggled with the speed at first but it gets easier with time. Don't forget how fast we speak in English. The little words that we don't even think about, rambled off at 100mph, can be baffling to a foreigner who's still learning. A thing that really helped me, is to focus on the words that you DO understand, usually you'll be able to get the gist of what's being said. Understanding is the most important thing - even if you don't get every single word, it's ok. You'll get there though. Relax, keep learning and enjoy the journey ;)
