- Bombs Away at Raging Waters Los Angeles is the Newest, Fastest, Steepest drop we've ever had at Raging Waters. Choose between the 70-degree AquaDrop reaching speeds up to 30 feet per second or the twisting, turning loop through a closed-tube 325 foot-long fly-by. No riveted clothing, t-shirts, cotton material, eyewear, footwear, or loose jewelry allowed. Rash guards are allowed. Riders must be 48" tall. Maximum rider weight is 300 lbs.
Raging Waters Los Angeles is California’s largest waterpark! This 60-acre Southern California summer tradition has been recognized by USA Today as a “Top 10 Water Park” and is home to more than 50 world-class attractions for all ages to enjoy, including Aqua Rocket, the state’s only hydromagnetic water coaster! The Park also features a wide-variety of tube and body slides ranging from mild to wild, a 30,000 square foot water playground, a one million gallon wave pool and a lazy river. Cabanas are also available for rental making for an affordable and close to home day-cation. Open mid-May through September.

I was scared at first, but then couldn't get enough! LOL Ended up riding it 6 times... 5 on the red slide, once on the blue!

It was actually scarier than Bombs Away! We had so much fun though.. we rode it again!
On average how long were the lines for the slides?
We were there for a media event prior to opening, so we were able to do quite a few of the slides before the gates opened and the crowds came in. We left around 2, and the lines didn't look too bad, but we spent most of the day in the lazy river and wave pool.

Definitely plan a trip! We had such a good time. There is so much to do... slides, wave pool and the lazy river!
We used to have a Raging Waters here on Utah. Spent a lot of time there when I was 13 and 14. It was sold to a company called Seven Peaks and I was able to go multiple times as an adult with my kids. Sadly they went bankrupt and closed. Now it's all covered in graffiti. Had a water roller coaster there they I spent much of my time on. It was a blast.
I will have to research that park! There is an old water park here in California between Los Angeles and Vegas that has been abandoned as well. It's a cool site to roam around, even though it is closed to the public!

Omg you’re brave! I have a fear of being stuck in a tube so it’s a no for me. Lol I swear the guy in your group if he wasn’t holding on would have flown out of the tube! He literally was off on the side of the ride!!!! 😱
The enclosed tubes kind of scare me as well!
I’ve gone on the red slide twice and once on the blue slide. When I attempt to get on this attraction for the first time, I’m anxious because of the countdown phase. As I slide down, everything gets better in the end. I got on the blue slide on my second ride, but it thrashes me around as I slide down. I enjoy having fun with this slide when I did it again many times.
I was nervous riding it the first time as well, but once I got to the bottom, I couldn't wait to do it again!

Haven't been to Raging Waters in about 30 years. Had a fun time there but don't know why I never went back! 😀
