She's known as Asia's phoenix!!!! I met her in the Philippines and she's a sweetheart!!! She's gorgeous on the outside and inside!!!
Mr. Goodrich, "You've only just begun" to appreciate this young lady's God-given talent. I stumbled on to her a year and a half ago, by chance. It was because of auto-play. I was listening to another video when the next one was this one. Now, a good year and a half later, I'm convinced she's better than Mariah, Celine, or any other "diva"/singer you can name, now or way back when. Amazingly, she's only 24 y/o!! Thank you for noticing her breath control on that long phrase and how she "played" with her gorgeous voice! There isn't any genre she can't do. Here are some suggestions to prove my point of her being better....Rise Up (an acapella version just released on YT on her birthday June 3, 2020), The Wish Bus cover is great but she went a step further and made it her own with the newest version. Someone Like You from Jekyll & Hyde (Musical), Defying Gravity, And I Am Telling You, Never Enough (from The Greatest Showman), She Used To Be Mine (from the movie/Broadway show Waitress), Jesus Take The Wheel (Carrie Underwood cover)...the list goes on and on!!. Most of those I've just listed are more recent and were done in her home due to the Virus lockdown. I'm still watching new videos of her. She is incredible as there are no grander words to describe this girl!!! She will only continue to amaze you and you will only continue to be picking up your jaw from the floor! This is all imho. Oh...also a Mariah Carey cover of Fly Like A Bird is wonderful!

I am not sure a about underrated. Definitely gets kudos from many experts. TH-cam is her launchpad - her exposure to mainstream via album or movie score is the next step

She is so amazing that she has become a favorite of many many vocal coaches and reactors all over the world- generating for such channels literally tens of millions of views and tons of subs, with some channels getting as much as upwards of a million or two views.
Akin Ka Na Lang, which is a Filipino ballad, is her signature song that is becoming popular even among non-Filipinos, Malaysian superstar Shila Amzah, in fact, made her own version and upload it on her channel.
Many of Morissette's covers like Against All Odds, Secret Love Song and Never Enough have become the most watched covers/versions or near the top ones.

Excellent review. All I can say is she is even better now. Her emotional transference is what truly sets her apart. Fly like a bird and Rise up 2020 are recommended. Also for a broadway taste listen to her recent versions of Used to be Mine and Defying Gravity. She is CHAMELEON actually. She does it all. Fantastic talent that is undiscovered in the USA. That long phrase you referred to is the most extraordinary thing of this song, I think. As impressive as a whistle is, and she modulates hers beautifully, that long phrase is unbelievable, 14 seconds of heaven.
And she does it sitting down, lol, which is mind-blowing.

Morisette did Secret Love Song on the wishbus too. It used to be the most viewed video on that channel. Of course the vocals was amazing but also fascinating for me was watching how her mouth moved while singing. It was mesmerizing.
