The reason why such category is introduced is quite different than what is followed. Mostly any film that featured in very few screens or no screens at all other than film festivals always have one of the best acting performances. Its very sad that these masterpieces goes unrecognised. Critic award is generally for such films to bring them into lime light. Coming to arjun reddy , its been released in good number of screens had made all the buzz .many ppl other than telugu have watched it. For my opinion this doesn't follow under critic category. Im not saying Prabhas doesn't deserve it. Because he and allu arjun are my fvrt leads in present generation. he had put all the hardwork behind the screen and the time he dedicated is invaluable. Also his performance and diction that went through is quite different from the way he normally speaks. But this is not measured while judging. they have to judge what they see on screen. for me its really difficult to beat when a actor performs so methodically. Even if actors like chiranjeevi and aamir are there in prabha's place(my all time favourite) i still stand on my words that best should be presented the main award. Filmfare is only award ceremony in telugu where talent is unbiased.( even allu arjun said the same, who is a best friend of prabhas and both of their production companies work as partners).This is a very bold and good decision taken, it will go onto encourage new talent.

Technically, Prabhas got tougher questions than Shraddha. All of Shraddha's questions were related directly to Prabhas and were mostly basic but Prabhas's questions were such that even Shraddha's fans may not know all of them. Like which co-star would know with whom Shraddha has done 3 films or it's a miracle that a Telugu actor knows so much about Hindi films such as Andaz Apna apna and etc. While the film is classic today, it actually flopped at times of release and only gained popularity in later years.
