Just like she did Nick Godejohn, she used them both, Nick has a IQ that is 2 off Forrest Gump, he was manipulated into killing Deedee and he thought that he was a hero for saving her because Gypsy told him that, he wanted to find another way but she told him that there was no other way, there's a video of standing over her mom whilst she slept doing stabbing motion with her hands showing Nick how to do it, she could arrange a lot things to happen leading up to the murder, like tickets for the bus etc hotel rooms and visiting another man in hospital before that without her mom knowing but she wouldn't get help to free herself without involving murder, she is dangerous and she uses people to get what she wants, she knew enough to not involve herself in the act of murder where she would be sent to prison for life and that's why she got Nick to do it, she is flat out dangerous and Nick deserves help mentally not prison for life without parole

She is not a victim of Munchausen. She suffers from Mycrocephaly caused by her chromosone disorder. That's why they can't sue any of the doctors. All of her sugeries were necessary. If you have any doubts, look up Mycrocephaly and you will clearly see that this is her real problem. Watch Dr. Phil's interview part 1, Min. 15:00 where she says that DeeDee told her that she had Mycrocephaly. Rod and Gypsy onlyrecently finally admitted that in fact Gypsy has a chromosone disorder...but they are still trying to hide the part about the Microcephaly. However, the physical traits of Mycrocephaly are so distinctive that they cannot be hidden.

What she did was at the least accessory to first degree murder. They had the entire thing planned out. If she can plan a murder , she can plan an escape. She didn’t have to kill her mother to leave the situation. She may not have been the one to do the act of killing but she was 100% involved and a willing participant. Yes, victims of abuse can become abusers, at that point we no longer need to worry about protecting them, at that point the public need protection from *them* . The reason she is able to make a profit from her crimes is Because the law is only applicable while the person or persons are actively incarcerated....where's she isn't, and usually when someone commits a crime such as what she essentially got away with....and 9 outta 10 times they'll end up with a life sentence but as you and i well know she was one percent that managed to be able to miraculously manipulate the system just as she did with godejohn.. so hopefully, that sheds some light on how she's able to make a living off of other peoples suffering...

we all have to remember her mother completely isolated her, with her fake medical issues & feeling as tho her dad& extended family didn’t care or want her. Victims of abuse as children only know that life as normal, they do not and cannot think about or see things as others do. It’s so easy from the outside to say “ oh she could have done this, could have done that” and she could have but she did not see that way out. Multiple misdiagnosis, a cabinet full of medications, a feeding tube, locked up inside her home, bondage, manipulation in signing legal documents (power of attorney), her mother trying to gain custodianship so daughter couldnt get accurate age plus have control over medical care... do we need to go on?

I understand. An abused child hates the abuse, but can still love the abuser. I loved my father despite fearing him, hiding from him, and wishing him dead so i could just have one day without fear. The fear is crippling and never truly goes away. But at times he did show me kindness, which i coveted. When he got cancer, i was devastated, and prayed and pleaded with God to save him. He died when i was fourteen. For years, i only allowed myself to remember the good memories. I turned my mind off when I was forced to look at the scars he left on my body. The hate came much later.
Gypsy was sbused by a mother who showed her conditional love. As long as Gypsy allowed herself to be a victim of her mother's narcissistic desires, her mother showered her with love. Otherwise, she was hurt in addition to the medical treatments forced on her. When she ran away, her mother found her straightaway and severely punished her. I don't think she had a choice.
So, it's not weird that she still loves her mother. Actually, it's quite remarkable that she has recognized her mother's illness, and has attempted to forgive her.

She was never a victim..there is no proof she was abused. She needed those medical procedures.. the lawyer took that story and ran with it.

She did her time . Now she's living life she would have never been able to do otherwise. Yes, what she did was wrong, but she knows she did wrong now that she is living her life as she should . People that are judging her so harshly need to realize that her mother put her through so much physically mentally and emotionally that we can never imagine what Gypsy had to go through to survive when I look into her eyes I see so much pain I really really do I think that she has a very good heart I don't know why people judge her so harshly her mother was sick and put chains around her arms and told her if she told anybody that she would hurt her by Smashing her fingers
I don't get it! How does a conspirator to murder become so idolized? I live in Springfield...I saw this girl and her mother when they got their house! She wasn't a victim! She enjoyed everything she got! She and her Mother were a team and she had to get her Mother out of the picture so SHE could control everything! She isn't dumb by any means...she's actually very smart and very clever! She's a manipulator and still working it!
Thank you for speaking up. I can’t begin to imagine how the community must feel being betrayed by them. All the volunteers who helped and donated money and now look how she behaves. I hope some of you can be interviewed , if you want to that is.

After watching the first 3 episodes of Life After Lock Up… you can see the mental illness her mother taught her is still there… she is very much a narcissist, and has been using people. What happened was her while married talking to her ex Ken. What happened to her is wrong but to give this woman a show is disturbing!

This case was poorly handled by the legal system and cps and the mental health system and shows everything wrong with the legal system and mental health system and cps system
