Can go both ways. With Pluto in Capricorn we have had such obsession with personal wealth and material things that the billionaire class has grown. But there has been a lot of Cancerian hypersensitivity and a focus on safe spaces and self nurturing. There will be positives and negatives on the Aquarius-Leo axis, as well. The life expectancy statistics do not reflect the potential life span. People were not dying en masse at around 30-40! The numbers are skewed because of averaging out all ages at death. I think many get Aquarius not quite right we may be good at tech communication especially with words but a true Aquarian stays away from the net of things and prefers to be in the mountains and forests or sat by a waterfall .I live by many beautiful waterfalls where I find my peace in this crazy world ,waterfall the Aquarian symbol .the lady tipping a pitcher of free flowing water.
Can go both ways. With Pluto in Capricorn we have had such obsession with personal wealth and material things that the billionaire class has grown. But there has been a lot of Cancerian hypersensitivity and a focus on safe spaces and self nurturing.
There will be positives and negatives on the Aquarius-Leo axis, as well. You mentioned that Pluto in Leo has a lot of megalomania. And it can be difficult to get them to think beyond themselves and what the feel. I get that. But there was also lots of broader Aquarius revolution towards humanitarianism with many of the Pluto in later Leo generation.
If early Pluto in Leo is an “everything revolves around me”, then maybe they’ll be a bit of a higher mind technological obsession that brings about more advanced technologies to help a humanitarian fix to issues of scarcity and suffering across the globe.

It will not be as easy as folks think, as she says more freedoms will require more economic pull before the concept of easy going free ideal of what people think Aquarius is. The life expectancy statistics do not reflect the potential life span. People were not dying en masse at around 30-40! The numbers are skewed because of averaging out all ages at death. In past centuries most babies didn’t live beyond five years due to various illnesses and many mothers died in childbirth. This no longer happens so it seems that people are living longer but in reality fewer people are dying as infants and in childbirth.

There was a lot of idealism, but that idealism was met with men coming home with untreated and misunderstood PTSD. Hope and idealism were constantly smashed with the assassination of the Kennedy dreams and MLK and Malcolm X. There was a great breakdown and pushback against the idealism that was brought forth by the Leo generation by the military-industrial complex and chemical companies and the powers of war-for-profit. The battle done to stop this power appeared to be hopeless and impossible, but a lot was seeded for the future. Now we know what the military/ industrial complex is. Pluto in Leo generation brought through a blend of eastern thought with western, organic food and farming, alternate natural health, the explosion of the arts, advanced the liberation of women and people started to at least talk about sex and racism, etc. So much liberation of thought, but being constantly smashed down by the "man." The start of the astrological renaissance was by the Pluto in Leo generation. I started to study astrology in the early 70's in the small apartment and home of Robert Hand and other astrologers in northern Ca at the time. I was one of the first people to buy a full set of Alaskan flower essence in CA and learned to make them myself. Chinese med and acupuncture were brought home by many vets. Yoga was introduced. I spent 7 years teaching and creating circles of women to move beyond trying to liberate by becoming like men and instead tap into the divine feminine. Much of the arts of healing and alternative society were seeded and started by the Pluto in Leo Generation. This is a very valuable base for future generations but will not be seen if only hatred for the Machine is wrongly directed. The younger generation is faced with the same machine- robber barons and military/industrial companies, and the medical mafia.
