All of these, are what made the Story of Asriel and CHARA The most tragic and Inspiriting tale: The Tale of the Underground 💚 The UnderTale ❤️
It's beautiful! This is one of the more beautiful songs from the game of Undertale too. But I find it sad that the song is among the most underrated songs from the game though.
Yes it does, and it also represents letting go of the past and looking forward to seeing a better future. Or in other words, hope. Hope in its entirety. Now sure it might not be as in your face as mevalovania or as emotionally driven as His Theme, but for what it's worth, it has a bigger impact than most of the other songs from the same game. It's very emotionally driven, don't get me wrong.
@@Karma-wb7et His Theme and Once Upon a time are the precursors to this song. The song itself is a culmination of everything up till that moment. It's the resolution to the journey, the last piece of the puzzle. You now know that you have a choice to make, and in a few moments, you and the king will determine the future of humans and monsters. But in a way... I think it's a song that is best appreciated when you know what goes with it. Maybe that's why it's UNDERrated. Because the song isn't just a song, but a story told through a song. The start is calm, and nostalgic, telling you of a story. You trek through a familiar house, homey, and memorable. The middle is quiet and sad, telling you the tragic tales end. You slowly walk through a hall way filled with dread. The last time you were in a hall like this, you were afraid you'd have to fight Toriel. And now, those same feelings of uncertainty and sadness for what happens next are brought back. Finally, you step out into the open. A grand city before you, with face after face you've seen before. The music swells, and the story speaks of hope, of a future.. and of freedom. Before finally settling down, and becoming quiet, and calm, and silent... And you're asked a simple question. How do you feel about what you did, and... knowing what you've done... What are you going to do next? The game literally asks you to think, something not enough stories do. And I honestly believe no two players have the same answer when asked that question. Maybe this isn't the last song, and maybe it's not the most recognized, and maybe this isn't the end of the story quite yet- But in encapsulates everything, all the emotions and memories from the game into one beautiful score- and for that. I call this singular moment, by itself... A masterpiece. I truly don't think it can be topped. That's not to say the game is perfect, it's not, but this moment of the game truly could not have been done better. When Toby said that he could never make something that would make you feel "that way" again... for me at least... This is the moment he was talking about. These feelings can only be remembered. Not re-experienced the same way twice. So that's why one of the main recurring themes in the song... is Memory. To keep those memories strong. Thankyou for reading, have a good day, and God bless you 😊 (also, Memory is the alternate name for His Theme. They both work tho)

If only one song should be played on my funeral, it would be this... because it tells you to never give up hope, no matter what You’re groing trough. A long time ago, a human fell into the RUINS. Injured by its fall, the human called out for help. ASRIEL, the king's son, heard the human's call. He brought the human back to the castle. Over time, ASRIEL and the human became like siblings. The King and Queen treated the human child as their own. The underground was full of hope. Then... One day... The human became very ill. The sick human had only one request. To see the flowers from their village. But there was nothing we could do. The next day. The next day. ... The human died. ASRIEL, wracked with grief, absorbed the human's SOUL. He transformed into a being with incredible power. With the human SOUL, ASRIEL crossed through the barrier. He carried the human's body into the sunset. Back to the village of the humans. ASRIEL reached the center of the village. There, he found a bed of golden flowers. He carried the human onto it. Suddenly, screams rang out. The villagers saw ASRIEL holding the human's body. They thought that he had killed the child. The humans attacked him with everything they had. He was struck with blow after blow. ASRIEL had the power to destroy them all. But... ASRIEL did not fight back. Clutching the human... ASRIEL smiled, and walked away. Wounded, ASRIEL stumbled home. He entered the castle and collapsed. His dust spread across the garden. The kingdom fell into despair. The king and queen had lost two children in one night. The humans had once again taken everything from us. The king decided it was time to end our suffering. Every human who falls down here must die. With enough souls, we can shatter the barrier forever. It's not long now. King ASGORE will let us go. King ASGORE will give us hope. King ASGORE will save us all. You should be smiling, too. Aren't you excited? Aren't you happy? ..... ..... ..... This is deserving of more, the rendition and just the song itself. In my opinion, the better songs are drowned out by megalovania, for example Undertale and Spider Dance. This rendition of the original Undertale is probably one of the most beautiful things my ears have heard.
I want this song at my funeral. Edit: I think some people forget that Chara was a good person. They’re not the one responsible for Frisk’s genocide. Frisk being a terrible, unstoppable, genocidal beast was their own fault. The sadism and evil we give Chara credit for was awoken by the senseless slaughter of Toriel. Chara knew that Frisk was everything they knew humans to be. So they decided that Frisk had to go along and kill every monster alive. Frisk and Chara’s evil was caused by Frisk and Frisk only.
It's been a month since I found this... I've listened to it so many times now, but it still has that original charm. I really appreciate this remastered version, it is very, very beautiful. Can't thank you enough for this! ♡

Only thing I hate about this song (the original, not your version) is the fact it's the same name as the game, so you have to type "Undertale Undertale" in order to find it, and you still get stuff that isn't the song. As for this version; I really like it. However, with this one, I felt it nailed how much oomph was needed to keep the emotions going while also pushing the song up more (if that makes sense). Basically what I'm trying to say is I think this is one of the best versions of Undertale's Undertale I've heard so far
