Queen mother treated both the sons equally, the point they are trying t show in the movie is even though Bahubali is not Sivagami's real son ,she treated him equally as Bhallaladeva.
That is why Sivagami's husband was upset.
She did not neglect Bhalaladeva, in Bahubali-1 they show she offered to nurse Bahubali along with Bhallaladev -That shows she is accepting Bahubali also as his own 2nd son.

1- 45:15 - Baahubali gave Kumar Verma the dagger and left because in the starting of that battle when Kumar verma didnt knew about baahubali reality he hit him with his foot making baahubali to move some steps back(which is big thing), which realizes him that Kumar verma is indeed strong he just needed some motivation, it was also mentioned when tha battle was over and Baahubali came on Log on water , Kumar Verma apologised to him for treating him badly for days and hitting him with his foot then Baahubali replied that when you kicked me i got to know about your strength.

I went back 10 years to reimagine how I felt the movie for the first time.
Frankly speaking as a telugu guy, waited for so long to get it released and watch. After that this movie has changed the entire landscape of telugu film industry. Now film fans compare it as before baahubali and after baahubali.
If we put it in words as every dialogue, music, visuals, story telling, action sequences are standout in this film.

In Indian culture, touching feet is a sign of respect. We every time touch the feet of our elders to show respect. We do not touch the feet of younger people. Queen touching the feet of her daughter in law signifies that she has such a remorse that she was ready to touch the feet of a younger person. So, that scene has a greater emotional value than you had comprehended.

Kattappa is not slave minded because he understands whats true deep in the heart. But he does it because his ancestors gave the word that their family will serve the king. In our culture, once you gave the word, there is no breaking it. It's not even like you stand by the word or die. You can't even die to go against the word. You just have to do it.

All the main characters in Rajamouli's films can be seen as different manifestations of Lord Rama from the *Ramayana* and the great warrior Karna from the *Mahabharata*. Their lives, values, and morals are deeply inspired by the principles and virtues rooted in Sanatana Dharma.

Haven't u seen the childhood scenes of both Bahubali and Bhallal ?
She loved them both. Bahu took care of her more and spend his time with her more . She loved him because He asked for that extra love . On the other hand Bhallal was there only when it was required.

Bhalla (Rana) has only one healthy eye. Rana revealed in 2016 that he is blind in his right eye, and his left eye is a transplanted one.
Also, after he beefed up for this movie, he had severe issue with his Liver, and he lost most of the weight while filing for 2nd part. Thats why he looks a little lean in some of the scenes. Watch closely.

1:15 in India we show respect to our elders by touching their feet it's a sign of utmost respect from any person according to our traditions thats why when Baahubali's son is born Katappa puts that babies feet on his head to show his respect because he was born to such an honorable man it's very significant and important part of our culture that's why so much importance to feet is given in our culture
1:18 Katappas character is based on historical character of our holy book Mahabharata named Bheeshma who was loyal to throne bound by promise thats why we Indian's didn't find that character arc weird because since childhood we have heard stories abt Ramayana and Mahabharata and such characters

Katappa loyalty is bound to the throne. He does what the King orders even if he hates it. Basically he is following his dharma. Its one of the core tenets of Hindu dharma. I think his character is based on Bhisma from Mahabarata. Also an interesting thing, Katappa holds Mahendra under his feet during the fight in BB1, At the end of the fight, he puts Mahendra's feet on his head when he realizes he is hte rightful King and son of Baahubali.

you should watch marayada ramana , vikramarkudu . emotions will kill you. its not because of different kingdom and customs are not known to devasena, its because bahubali is the rightful owner and people's wish she asked because it was dharmam(righteousness)(its complex compect for westerners what dharmam means doing the right thing even it pains you or individuals choice meets societal responsibility) and katapa is not thinking from slave point of view , he was thinking how to keep his word even if he dies. so once a man promises he must do it.

In amrendra in bahubali 1 first time goes in Kingdom
Rajamouli uses all five elements in Hinduism we call panchtatva land, fire, water, sky, n wind everything he puts in that scene. Conspicuously watch that scene
N when he hold the statue of Bhalla rajamouli makes imaginary bigger statue than bhalla statue that shows people's hearts Mahendra statue is much much more bigger than urs, in first sequence BBLI 1, when Shiva(amrendra) establish Shiva linga( u said that stone black stone, that is lord Shiva symbol) when Bahubali established in waterfall he gets energy to climb that waterfall n same symbol uses in bahubali 2 climax when amrendra was loosing fight with bhalla, again in white Shiv Ling amrendra puts hand n give his blood to shiv ling just like water in beginning he gets strength to defeat Bhalla, n again in climax very kast scene when Bahubali attacks with sword takes jump to sky(element symbol again) we see in sky Mahendra bahubali image in sky that shows his reincarnation is killing him nuclear atomic energy centre happen in that shape bcz in Hinduism Shiva is the destroyer God n that shape is the perfect shape scientifically best shape to secure nuclear energy, that Hinduism discover millions years ago,
In 2nd part when devasena chopped fingers if bhalla son n bahubali comes n says that u did wrong devsena u must chopp his neck, n what a brilliance writing in first part amrendra bahubali did the same chopped neck. Bcz he disrespect a woman
