Tiptonion here, just found this video. Thanks for the ride. The cost of living here now, WOW. I say this in comparison to what Tipton has to offer. It is a good little community, but the political part. It's a good ol' boys, it's all in who you know and whi you blow town. The city officials block, make it to hard, refuse to offer certain permit requests cuts, deals, and or breaks for renting a place (even the old decaying buildings that are just sitting...cough cough....AFTER THE CITY BOUGHT THE ENTIRE!! PROPERTY) or to open a business. Like the nessity stores, grocery and pharmacy for example.This would allow competition, cut into deals and purse change. The prices are phenomenal for the typical househol6d disposable income. Especially if you make less than $40,000 NYI, you will not be able to afford to put your money back in your town. Buying groceries, the few little shops we have, medications. NYI of anything shy of $60, 000 you will need to travel the 15 or so miles to Kokomo to be able to just get enough to get buy. $40,000 NYI will not allow you to live life here. It will just simply let you live enough, robbing Peter to pay paul, type of way. You won't be able to afford to work where you live (a few employers maybe okay but 🤷♀️) this is an old saying not a literary statement of robbing. This nice, pretty little town, don't let the good roads, small community, and nice homes fool you. You have no idea as to who lives within them. Born and raised here, i can honestly say progress and growing are sad for Tipton (IMO). You remember what it once was while seeing it as it is right you. Again, this is a nice looking town, but there's most certainly a food chain here. Thanks for the drive around 😊
These would be much more interesting if instead of homes, you showed schools, restaurants, sport places, hospitals, etc. That’s something we all can relate to and remember back on. I’m from Tipton, but moved away years ago. Would love to have seen all the places that many of us attended over the years. The houses didn’t really have the much meaning to me and my family who now live in the south. Love what you are doing, but maybe change it up a bit👍

You know if you love what he is doing, please keep supporting here with friends and relatives, he is working with a realtor " she", so i know that he is a fixer upper if you don't like the houses, focus in the small town or the small City ! According to my research Tipton Indiana was not a sun downtown however it is predominantly white if you have a job offer in Tipton Indiana, if I were you go ahead and take that position you should not have any issues there. Depending on what occupation you're going to be working if you're concerned about diversity check out Anderson Indiana which is only 40 minutes away from Tipton there's also plenty of job opportunities in Anderson. If you want to live in Anderson my suggestion would be to stay on the far Southeast or south section of the city. The northern and the Northeast section of Anderson or decent places as well good luck.
