Hi Tom. I bought both a TP-30 in spruce and cedar about 2005 and they are still my favorite guitars sounding as good or better than guitars costing double or triple the money. Wish you continued success!

I purchased one of his guitars about a year ago. It's an amazing musical instrument both sound wise and appearance.

JeanPaul here. I bought a TP-30 from you last year. Still super happy with it. It's actually sounding better as it settles.

The Julia Florida, I have played hundreds of times over the years on my Spruce TP 30, I prefer Augustine strings, why do all good guitars sound great with Augustine strings? Anywho, I believe after these years of playing mine several hours a day, i believe my TP 30 sounds better today than it did the first year. I am guessing that the wood eventually relaxes into its job and allows the sound to be less obstructed by tension. The other part is I am amazed at how far the sound of my TP 30 holds up, even outside on quiet dry evenings, when another guitarist played my guitar for me.. I have tried super expensive guitars that sound loud and full up close and then not so good at a distance. That projection is not so easily explained in mechanical terms, but i assure it is a very real thing.

Yours is such a great story with your own supply of spruce. I picked up the guitar again after learning as a child after a 30 year hiatus a couple of years ago. Bought a Cordoba c7 as at the time that seemed an appropriate price point in case I would no stick with it. I have been eyeing an upgrade for a while. I remember my teacher way back when who had a 20 thousand guilders guitar and I couldn't believe how that thing boomed compared to my humble Aria practice guitar.
I love the clarity of the spruce but each time I am spending my money I seem to get drawn to the warmer sound of the cedar. I noticed that your spruce actually has a very warm sound to it to my ears anyway compared to other spruce guitars.
I would love to visit your shop and compare the two and also to my c7. Perhaps I'll take a drive when this pandemic is over.
I just saw my own comment on Ken Meyer's video from 2 years ago maybe I should just order one LOL.!

I have the tp10 and am considering buying a tp30. May I ask why you still keep your tp10 if you purchased the 30?

I see some TP30 630's out there but they're hard to find info on. I also see you don't make the 630 scale any longer... why'd you stop?

Hi Dan! TP-30 630 mm string scale are still available. They have always been available as special order guitars. Thanks for your interest
