Dennis actually got me to start watching armwrestling when I first saw those TH-cam videos of him cracking walnuts with his fingers it was insane how much power he had in his fingers.
Think this is a perfect case of the story of Icarus.. I love Denis too much to see him put his body through what it once was. He has already proved himself to arm wrestling and doesn't need to do anything. I hope this comes into his mind when making this decision. If his intention is to please his fans I hope he doesn't, but if it is something he feels he needs to do for himself then I do.

I remember when Flex wheeler returned to the Olympia stage after suffering health problems. He put too much stress on his body trying to return and his kidneys were damaged, they had to surgically remove his legs as a result and he is only in his 50s. It was very very gruesome. Denis is a great guy, very humble and friendly. I do not want to see him suffer this fate.

I'm not doctor but having a chronic kidney diesease is one thing, but then using PEDs which can significantly affect the same organ sure doesn't sound like a good idea to me. edit: A quick google says "Anabolic steroid abuse can lead to focal segmental glomerulosclerosis" which is the medical term for what Flex had.

What choice does the loud mouth hype, but destroyed by levan, arm in sling, have after that day of reckoning when his bubble burst easily? Pretending to take the high road is his only option after the debacle. Anything less would look even more embarassing than his 6-0 humiliation and having to eat crow after acting like a buffoon leading up to the match( and even after his first round loss; thereafter, the bubble crashed in a blink). Levan has been all class before and after his total dominance on the table. Larrat should learn, but that is too much to ask out of a gasbag.

I would pay to see PRIME Dennis vs Levan. But prime Dennis was a few years ago. I think everybody is happy that Dennis is healthy and imho it'a not worth to put it to a test if his body would take intense preparations again. I hope Levan will find a worthy opponent elsewhere.

You got to love Dennis his heart so much desires to compete with levan even with his body broken his arteries torn and exploded from the pressure of blood from his strong heart pumping so hard through his body with unreal super human power after his injury that let's face it almost nearly took his life he could have very easily internally bled to death that is a beyond catastrophic injury and being the champion Dennis is he is wise he tried to bounce back after his injury before and he had 1 2 3 different complications so he's had to back off and give it time and go back into it gradually but God bless him what a warrior a man who wants to compete so badly that it could possibly cost him his life that just brings tears to your eyes thinking about the heart of that warrior he truly is an incredible man...
I think the ability to beat Levan is within Denis's genetic potential. But for him to push to those limits would probably kill him. I definitely think he could get to number 2 and remain healthy though.
Cyplenkov is lighter than Levan but he also more experienced and have some serious stregth records, and thats what realy important. The question is - can he get back on that strength level or not.
Greater even. At much lower weight. Denis will stay in the armwrestling books for a long time. Hope he can grace us with one more great fight at the highest of levels.

I think he had a stroke and this is why its taken so long to recover. Look how he cannot blink with his one eye now. That is a sign of brain damage/stroke. Likely from high blood pressure. I dont buy that this recovery is all due to his kidney. Although im sure he also had kidney problems too.

Denis earlier failing health was one of most saddening thing for me in arm wrestling, I felt it was a mighty loss until Levan came into the picture, after watching that video of Denis in Hospital, I started checking and I got more interested in Levan.

Well he only lost one leg actually and it was a result of the surgery he had for his chronic kidney disease which was unrelated to bodybuilding drugs.

You got to love Dennis his heart so much desires to compete with levan even with his body broken his arteries torn and exploded from the pressure of blood from his strong heart pumping so hard through his body with unreal super human power after his injury that let's face it almost nearly took his life he could have very easily internally bled to death that is a beyond catastrophic injury and being the champion Dennis is he is wise he tried to bounce back after his injury before and he had 1 2 3 different complications so he's had to back off and give it time and go back into it gradually but God bless him what a warrior a man who wants to compete so badly that it could possibly cost him his life that just brings tears to your eyes thinking about the heart of that warrior he truly is an incredible man...

When health is an issue, baby steps is the sure way back to high level form.
I think the ability to beat Levan is within Denis's genetic potential. But for him to push to those limits would probably kill him. I definitely think he could get to number 2 and remain healthy though.
Cyplenkov is lighter than Levan but he also more experienced and have some serious stregth records, and thats what realy important. The question is - can he get back on that strength level or not.

@@nvmffs Yes if he gets back to 330lb he might get in trouble. It's all the protein he took wrecked his kidneys he needs to eat like Levan n not worry about bodybuilding anymore you don't need to be ripped for Armwrestling your no where near your strongest when your ripped.

Dear Denis, if you're reading this. it's better you stay healthy! Health is important. it would be so hard to beat Levan Saginashvili. He seems like He's stronger than ever nowadays! He's an absolute Monster in physique and strength
I think he had a stroke and this is why its taken so long to recover. Look how he cannot blink with his one eye now. That is a sign of brain damage/stroke. Likely from high blood pressure. I dont buy that this recovery is all due to his kidney. Although im sure he also had kidney problems too.

Denis earlier failing health was one of most saddening thing for me in arm wrestling, I felt it was a mighty loss until Levan came into the picture, after watching that video of Denis in Hospital, I started checking and I got more interested in Levan.
