    Yes, I still use the note II in 2019. The camera is good (regardless what you say especially videos in sunlight), s-pen cool, OTG hdmi HD (720) with split screen (pre Dex) box/adapter, replace battery, easy to open sd card and sim, etc I still love it and most 2019 apps still work for it. Subbed ! @ 10:37 wtf edit error ? Since you and others claim to root these, then do it and put Andriod UI/pi/10 in it and make a video about it, I bet it will handle it good ! I dare you.

    I had a white one when they were new. Eventually rooted it and threw on a 4.4 Cyanogen mod which made a so smooth. This phone was an absolute monster when it came out. I've only bought two brand new phones since this one. Eventually I lent it to someone who promised they'd give it back, you know how that story turned out.

    I still use a 5s from 2013. I bought it in 2016. I also own a 6 and 6s Plus. I only have old iPhones. Oh, I have a 4s also but SIM cannot go in that since it is nano. 2012 technology, Samsung offered a lot, a 5.5-inch display quite good colors and brightness and a pen in a phablet form. I cannot believe u could buy such a big phablet phone in 2012, already. Apple was gonna offer a month or two later the 5 and I am sure it sucked compared to this, only 4-inch display and only 1 Gigabyte of RAM. From 4 inches to 5.5 inches it is huge like my 6s Plus and 5s huge difference in display. Imagine a 7-inch display like the few approaching for the North America Market. That is my future phone a 7-inch phablet.

    It's the Note series equivalent to the Galaxy S3!! Between this and the Note3, I probably should've jumped in on the Note series here.
    *Checks around on XDA* Huh. Seems only the international variant of the Note2 has Oreo & Pie ROMs. The US carrier branded variants seem to have stopped at Nougat...much like its smaller sibling.

      @DragoonMS 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Wei-ym6bs Yup. Guess I better hunt for the N7100/N7105, lol...because that's the only way to get Pie on it (since the US variants all end at Nougat). Not sure why that's always the case where the international variants get more development...

    Why use buggy custom ROMs where all sorts of stuff is not working (like S-pen features or FM radio) when you can keep it on stock, root it, disable (or with root uninstall) what you don't use and use it like that? I have Galaxy S3 (which is essentialy a Note 2 with less RAM) and I use Note 2 Kitkat port on it. And I like it! I tried many custom ROMs for S3 and NONE of them is as good as stock. And what's up with those words like "outdated" and "not supported"? Kitkat still can run most major apps. I also have Galaxy S5 and I keep it on Kitkat because I like it!

N I had the LG phablet i cant remember its model tho but it looked identical to the note 2 same home button same size better camera though and its home button had LEDs it changed from red blue orange ect.. but when I seen his Spen n he told me the name of the phone I feel in love with the note series n he told me they was already on the note 2 n bout to unleash the note 3 and galaxy mega 6.3 which I also got two of those too lmao I miss those old days it was more exciting then it is now

    Just last year before ai got my new phone, I used the note 2. I was broke so I had to buy an old device that would get the job done and I found this and bought it for $30 and surprisingly, it's amazing. I just replaced the battery and done. I use the device for few months on stock. It wasn't the best experience but it was good. I decided to custom rom it and that got Android nougat 7.1 and my experience just got better. With 2 GB RAM, it wasn't enough but it handled everything I did to it which is surprising. When new year started, I sold it and bought a phone.
    I'm in highschool so I do all those highschool things kids would do like texting, watching TH-cam, listening to music, gaming etc so for me it was amazing.

    Still have one but don't use it. Upgraded to the S7 Edge when that came out. I haven't upgraded to anything else sine the S7 edge. What I do like about these phones is that I didn't feel the need to upgrade every year like I did with the previous iPhone iterations. These phones are good for a fair few years. The note 2 is still a usable phone even today. Obviously it wont run the latest games, but I never used them for games anyway. I miss the SPen, I would have upgraded to the Note 7 ( I think it was the 7) but it was removed from sale by the time I had the funds). My next phone will be a Note style phone, when I eventually upgrade.

    My Note II is for those rare occasions when I have to make calls when traveling. The rest of the time it just stays on charging at home. Since I generally make and receive calls via VoiP. Google Voice and my desktop PCs replaced my Landline phones years ago. At some point I'll have to replace the Note as networks move away from 2G/3G/4G. 😒

    Still as good as what you can buy at places like Family Dollar for around $50 in 2019. Except for the OS of course.

      Sometimes it's an easy problem inside of the device like the cable has plugged off or somthing like that .. if you want to fix it just open it ;-; I tried that with my galaxy note 10.1 it worked after just plug the cables again inside

      Johnson Inbaraj That is one of the reasons I love android so much. The power to do whatever you want with your device. Problem is, not many people are skilled enough to make use of all this power. It can even become a problem if you don't know how to do it. With great power comes great responsibility. People that cannot handle all this responsibility are better served with an iPhone. People that know how to work with custom roms are better off with Android imo.

    I wish rooting was just as easy before. I own a note 8 and the bootloader is locked. There have been root methods but you needed a specific bootloader version because Samsung patched it. At least the exynos versions of todays samsung phones has an unlocked bootloader which means easy root.
