I knew from the moment that they steamrolled Paula Bennett that National wouldn't have a chance at the following election. Was definitely a good day for us on the left. She is a formidable opponent and seemed to be the only politician in the National Paŕty that had any clue on working as the opposition
Probably a shame for the People of New Zealand to never see him as a PM. However seeing the Nationals offed him at one point tells me they were not open to his advice.
He was quite clear the night of the election saying that he would leave the question of which party he would support up to the council of the NZ First Party and the list MP's who were contacted to become Members. He really does not want to allow himself to get into arguments he might not be the best one to solve.
His job is partly to enforce Standing Orders. Among other things, those govern how questions are to be asked and answered, including their form and relevance.
Paula got wrecked by that font reply, funniest reply i've seen in ages.
Ask if he would bring the document to the House in a wine box.
Hahaha "a staff member aware of modern technology changed the font" LOL
Oh well.
Most professional debate I've ever seen. There was an order and allowing each party to speak😊
Great discussions
This just made me realize how tall the desks are in comparison to the chairs.

So much so for the Tories trying to make a mountain out of a molehill. The ombudsman has ruled in favour of the coalition. Ha ha Paula Benefit!
Love him or hate him, Winston Peter's is a debonair, charming, intelligent and fascinating politician.
How is using the word “secret” inappropriate? Because that’s what it was?
The speaker is a dictator of the house
Ha ha! well done Winston.

Have someone else ask the questions. Question Time is not for weak people.
She's the scapegoat
@@DFENDiD she snatches goats off her bridges
Disagree. As good a political operator WP is and yes he won on points, I thought Paula Bennett was dogged in her questioning.
